And that's a stupid question. I can't make another person do anything. If she asked me what she should do, I would tell her to keep it, and if abortion was illegal in the area she was in and she had an abortion performed, I would report her and the doctor to the police and testify against them in court. But if abortion were legal and she went ahead with it anyway, I wouldn't physically stop her or anything.

That is not a scientific criteria for "being alive." All organisms require some sort of special environment to survive. You couldn't live in the deep sea and an octopus couldn't live on your kitchen floor. A tree won't survive if you uproot it. That doesn't mean any of those are "not living."
