Without derailing things too much, I think the main problem with zoomers is that most of them completely lack any kind of real historical context for anything currently happening in their lives or in mass media/culture. Millenials might've rotted our brains with tv and video games too, but at least when we watched TV there were lots of re-runs, and even from a young age we could understand that Nickelodeon cartoons were just the modern versions of Looney Tunes and Flintstones decades later. Even most millenials grew up being able to recognize, if not name, numerous works of classical music because cartoon network and nickeloden played old looney tunes re-runs, and a lot of other cartoons and programs utilized these classical music pieces. Zoomers really don't seem to have grown up with that. And if they ever did watch older media, it was always not as entertainment, but as an exercise in history. Cartoon network stopped doing looney tunes re-runs in the early 2000s, shifting it all to "boomerang" which no one watches. Basically zoomers grew up on a diet of post-2000 culture and media. Not only were they too young to remember 9/11, when it comes to media, very few of them ever grew up watching movies, tv shows, or cartoons from before the 21st century. As a result they lack the historical context and development that led up to current year.

I do think Nick has somewhat of a greater understanding of this than other zoomers, but as evidenced by his lack of knowledge of Spartacus, it still really isn't that deep. Despite claiming to stand for tradition, he clearly has a disdain for almost anything that came from before his time, outside of old values relating to racism and gender relations. But even then, it's hard to know how much of it is an act. He listens to Kanye West and watches Euphoria. He apparently listens to some classic rock, but even then it almost seems like he's putting on an act to appease his followers and donors who dislike rap music. And again his love of hip hop is such a zoomer trait, not that there aren't millenials who are similarly obsessed with hip hop to a fault, but for a guy who claims to find serious fault in the black community, who wants to champion "the white race"...it's just so cringe that he likes hip hop as much as he does, especially Kanye, who is one of the most egotistical and insane rappers to ever exist. This being said, we're talking about a marked decline from a peak of 20-30k on DLive, mainly explainable of course by the effects of censorship, most RW talking heads who get kicked off of Twitter or YouTube lose two-thirds of their fanbase in the process. If you read his other posts, he's basically saying that we're living in historical times, and the far right is focused on drama streams. The TRS guys also said that they're not interested in the drama because nobody talks about ideas.
