Probably just sheer laziness. Grab an old photo and use it. Happens plenty over in the US as well.Is this some kind of sabotage? Because honestly I wouldn't doubt that the media people who are asked to produce these video pieces and billboards are from an art/design background and thus are more likely to be libs and against the war. If anyone comes up to them they just go "ahhh dude I got a useless arts degree I don't know about military history, next time if you find any mistakes get back to me and I'll fix it".
I wouldn't say it's 100% bullshit. I mean, I don't know if Russia had any proof of it or even knew or cared, but an invasion of the separatist republics to retake that territory was, in my opinion, nothing but a matter of time. Ukraine needed that conflict resolved ASAP to join NATO and finally get security from Russia. And realistically speaking, I doubt the DPR/LPR would have been able to hold on for very long. It's a way different war than it was in 2014. Ukraine at the start of this war was way better equipped than the separatists could ever hope to be and despite the Russians being able to pour in weapons and armament through their borders with ease, the military strength just wasn't there to ultimately resist IMO.

Crimea? I doubt it. The Russians aren't separatists and wouldn't be beaten probably ever. They Ukrainians may have been OK with conceding it if it they had the Donbas conflict resolved and it was their last hurdle before that sweet sweet NATO membership, but there's way too many factors at play to really say anything with any certainty.
That NATO bit is a distorted quote, a lie in fact.
It’s double think in play Jesus ChristThat NATO bit is a distorted quote.
NATO was training and supplying Ukraine. And Ukraine, in turn, was getting another punitive anti-terrorist operation(ATO) ready, Crimea included.
That's what was said.
Poor Ukraine is global victim here, so unfair meanie Putin make them artillery strike Russian territory and kill Russian civilians and conscript their own people including children as meatshields when Russia retaliates.Poor Russia is global victim here. So unfair meanie western journalist pig dogs make them invade neighbour and rape and burn children.
I think a big part of it is de-Stalinization and later de-Sovietization. Stalin was predominant in a lot of WW2 Soviet propaganda, and that got purged fast when he died. After the USSR fell a lot of the rest of it was wiped clean too. It's less stupidity and more that they just don't have a lot of that propaganda lying around anymore. This retardation was common even before the war. They just take picture that will look good on the poster and jam it all together. Common men will not see the difference (to be honest, i would not see the difference ether, if it is not pointed out to me). I believe there was an example form Poland, where there was Dirlewanger Brigade during suppression of Warsaw uprising photo used in their own poster. So it's just common Slavic stupidity.
Crimea would be borderline suicidal to try and attack from the Ukrainian end. Relatively limited avenues of approach where all their forces would be funneled in close proximity to make for very juicy targets. The same could be said for the Russian side bringing in reinforcements, but air power would be even more on the side of Russia than it has in this war. I wouldn't envy any military who has to try and take geography like Crimea.Crimea? I doubt it. The Russians aren't separatists and wouldn't be beaten probably ever. Fixed it for you.God ison the side who hasbest artillery...

What the fuck kind of retard juice are you drinking? Have you taken even a minute to research this before spewing unfiltered garbage? We are giving them M113s, HMMVs, LAWs, and Stingers, zigger. Cold War shit. The US ended Iraq and Afghanistan with more equipment than it started. The US has equipment coming out it's ass. Piles and piles of unmodernized Cold War era M1A1s, M2A2s, M109A5s, etc stacked up at Anniston and Sierra army depots. The 250-odd M1A1s that the USMC just took out of service. The 140 Stryker MGS that the Army just divested. The 350 M198 howitzers that were replaced by M777s. Old Patriot systems. Old engineering equipment. The thousands of RG-31s, RG-33s, Maxpros, Cougars, uparmored Humvees and all the other assorted MRAPs that were built for Iraq but are being surplused as the US reorients itself back toward conventional warfare. The M1117s that we are giving, yes giving, to Greece because they are pals and the US has no use for them except as a neat ride for MPs to drive around in.The US is not sending out some kind of cold war surplus. We either used it up in the past twenty fucking years in our own wars. Or we gave it away or sold it since 1991 to other nations. We aren't giving the Ukrainians Dragon missiles. We gave those bitches away a long time ago. We are not giving them worn out old and obsolete shit. We are giving them some of our war reserves. War reserves that we have to be replaced in an inflationary economy.
Not just Vietnam dumb ass. Afghanistan and Iraq. We are spending tons of money. It is hurting our economy. But, you want an outcome so you propaganda your ass off trying to get it.
What could happen is Russia just plods its ass off in the dumbest way possible. Throwing "rusted" shit into a fight and take its time. Sooner or later, Jimmy Carter is going to show up in Moscow talking about peace. Once Ukrainian refugees start to "settle" in, crime is more than likely going to start going up and the native Europeans are going to detest them. The more refugees that Russia helps into Europe only helps Russia not Ukraine.
In WWI the Germans were forced to retreat from Paris. They lost the war. It took four years. Are you in this for four years nigger? In 2001 the US took Kabul and the entire country of Afghanistan. Almost twenty years later we left in utter defeat. Are you into this for twenty years nigger? The Germans went up against an army that almost got its ass handed to them two years previous by Finland. They got all the way to Moscow. A few years later Russia was raping the shit out of Berliners. Are you in this for the long haul nigger?
Based on what I know of my own countrymen they get really wound up about things, cry havoc, and want war. After about a year they start yelling and asking why we are spending so much money on other peoples wars. The fucked part of my countrymen is they are so very gullible for propaganda. Ukraine is the current "Great Adventure", next year it will be something else. Time is not on Ukraines side.
Don't think actual food shortages will be much of a thing in the US or other more developed countries, hell, the US exports twice as much food as any other country. Living in an area where over 80% of the land in a few miles radius of you are Maize fields tends to give you constant reminders of that fact.Wonder how much in the way of grain fields in Ukraine has been rendered at least temporarily unusable by this war. The resulting grain/cooking oil shortages will be a real problem. Here in the USA, suggest we're looking at 20-25% rise in prices of certain foods as well as spot shortages by the end of the year. In the Middle East/parts of Africa could see widespread food shortages.
Ukrainian wheat is winter wheat. Planted last fall. Their spring crops, the ones having problems getting in the ground here, are mostly for oil. Sunflower and rapeseed. Probably going to see a realignment of North American corn and canola processing and distribution to cover it. Europe getting the fuck over their aversion to GMOs and the US curtailing biodiesel production would help too.Wonder how much in the way of grain fields in Ukraine has been rendered at least temporarily unusable by this war.
