I can't help but think, are democrat officials literally retarded? They have a good thing going with their control over the media and keeping Republicans spineless controlled opposition, why are they poking them so much? Seems to me like they're blowing their load waaaay too early and they're just going to end up spooking Republican voters (who make up 50% of the country), and more importantly, antagonizing Republican politicians who for the past couple of years have been happy to cuck for them, how is this an intelligent move in any way?

That's EXACTLY what she's saying. And yet, protest at the Capitol building because the presidential election was a bit fishy, and suddenly you're an "INSURRECTIONIST" and a "THREAT TO OUR DEMOCRACY™!" If the left didn't have double standards, they wouldn't have standards at all.

The main problem is the their in no serious secession movement in the United States at present day. Where's our Neo-Confederates? Our Midwest movement? A serious Cascadia? The Montana Militia when you need them? Texas and California going solo again? You'd get the idea. There doesn't seem to be anyone at present day of when all hell breaks loose in the United States will go up and say "Fuck it! I'm creating my own country".

Isn't this all because Gosar posted a goofy mashup video combining US politics with Attack on Titan? I still think the video is kinda cringey—though less today than when it first was made into a big deal—but the overreaction was dumb. Especially since the AOC part is far less offensive than comparing mindless titans who invade and eat your children alive to illegal immigrants.

They know damn well that their entire regime cannot survive the slightest iota of scrutiny or unflattery.

In a follow-up to your post on Saturday regarding the Trump 2024 billboard you saw, I caught a sign in my neck of the woods that said, "Trump 2024 - Return To Greatness". That could be a snappier slogan since I'm sure most of us want to return to low gas prices, low taxes, low unemployment, no inflation, our southern border getting under control, European countries not at war, and totalitarian governments being held at bay.

Secession implies that the new country would be left alone after the secession, but leftists will never do so.
