Baked admitted the Feds tried to contact him on Jan 5th to warn him not to go into to capital. (excuse me if this was posted the last few pages, with the DDOS it's too hard to look right now)
He thought he could take the plea deal and still pull this shit because he is really stupid. If he takes the plea deal the judge still gives a sentence and a big part of whether it's a slap on the wrist or a punch in the face is if Baked shows remorse and takes responsibility. Baked just fucked himself because now he has to either go to trial or eat the plea deal and do the "I'm so sorry" act when he's obviously not sorry at all. Not only that but he has dozens of clips of himself sitting in front of a live camera calling the feds "a bunch of cocksucking Jews" while on trial for crimes he committed on camera because Baked is completely fucking delusional and if they bring that up the judge is going to drop the heaviest sentence possible on him or even worse reject his plea deal and make him go to trial anyways. Rejecting a plea deal is incredibly rare but so is having a dumb ass the caliber of Baked Alaska in your court room so nothing is off the table here.
Fuck all the 1/6 politics the fact of the matter is Baked in his current form is what happens when you let stupid arrogant people run around committing crimes flagrantly for years with no consequences and whatever happens to him he 100% deserves it for all the shit he got away with. If Baked was prosecuted for every assault he committed he'd be in jail for like 10 years. When they were on that RV they were buying mace by the dozen because they kept running out, no bullshit.

So you're suggesting a court should accept a plea deal for a person who refuses even to admit what they did? You can't have a guilty plea without actually pleading guilty, at least not as a right. If you maintain your innocence, it would be unconstitutional to find you guilty without a trial.
It's not coercive to say "okay you want to plead guilty, well you have to plead guilty to do that."

I think there is some sort of weird ass plea you can take that is half way between guilty and innocent that has you say you don’t accept guilt or someshit but can’t fight the court on it So you throw yourself at the mercy of the judge It’s one of those types of pleas made by dickheads for dickheads

Oh fuck off with that noise. If he had any sense or balls, he'd have sucked it up and taken the plea to what he actually did and worn it as a badge of pride, like thousands and thousands of other protesters who have done illegal shit like trespass, shut down roads to military bases, etc.
It's called an Alford plea. Federal courts need not accept it, though. You don't have a right to it. And they still can't find you guilty without some evidence of actual guilt.
For a guilty plea, you have to admit guilt. Otherwise "I'm only pleading guilty because they threatened to shoot me in the head otherwise" would be a valid plea. Threatening to add additional charges, though, is just normal bully prosecutor strategy.
I also wouldn't be surprised if he pleads out either at or before the status conference in July. If his lawyer talks some sense into him that might happen. His lawyer seems to be at least competent in these proceedings, so I seriously doubt he advised Baked to do this and was probably shocked at his faggotry.
He's had to make some seriously dumb arguments, largely because of the indefensible nature of his asshole client's actions.
He probably sighed and realized this meant more money coming his way though.

The arrogance is the killer here. If he'd been forced to learn humility in the past by being properly punished then he'd know he had to behave at least in front of the judge. It's like a kid in school that ends up acting like a little brat with the teachers because he knows they can't just punch him in the face, so ends up acting like more of a brat because he knows he can largely get away with it.

And the prosecutors wouldve said “your honor, the defendant already started to work with us”. Or that info would be leaked.

For the people saying it was a stupid move, you’re now BTFO’ed too. Know why? Because the prosecutor now has to try to force a felony. It won’t happen.
