You know, I love Pippa and all, but I could never simp to the level of buying someone something off a wishlist. I'm even dragging my feet on giving Null money for the True and Honest Simp badge, but that feels less strange as it's just cash and it's to support something I enjoy. I get that ultimately super chats, gifts, and whatever are no different from giving money on patreon or a general donation, but something about the former feels skeevy. I'd rather just give them cash with no strings attached just to support the content than do it so that they read a message (unless my message is an advert for something I'm selling). Maybe that's just my autism though and it does extend to participating in chat as something about that feels desperate as well.

They wanted to convert a bus to a live-in RV to get away from their roomates from hell.
The project was taking too long and they just had to get out of that environment ASAP and just bit the bullet and rented another place to themselves.

That's pretty much my view on it. I don't mind sending money though, as with free to play games if I've gotten enough entertainment from it I like to support the people making it, but I want it to just be an impersonal "here's some cash for the work" type of thing and nothing more. As a whole though the way money moves around these days is very strange to me.

Only soft, chewy chocolate cookies are S-tier for me, everything else is like C or below; I've never had much of a sweet tooth and sugary stuff tends to hurt my teeth.

As for Fauna in general, I don't really care about ASMR at all (or even the singing side of idol stuff, really) but she's still an entertaining streamer. Her and Irys both always seem so happy just to be streaming.

Pippa is a smart rabbit, but she needs to get cameras that are harder to notice, though that's an easy fix. Though she did mention one of her cameras crashed not long ago because a squirrel ate it and it put her on edge. Most be some bad past experiences.

If you'll excuse me for saying this, you're sounding a bit much MATI. When I first heard about her doing that, it seemed very much in her line of doing things because it's what she wanted to do. I don't watch her at all really, but it always was about what entertained her, was less frustrating, or fascinating for her, however weird it was. No thanks to the group UOOOOH stream, but stripping down social media definitely is something that gives you less to worry about. (clip about stream Endu is mentioning btw)

The entire 100 song Karaoke in general was great. She sang the first 20 songs live, then she switched over to a recording of the remaining 80 songs, and then went to sleep.
At the end she came back live and mentioned that all of the recordings was done after 3rd Fes, so she did all of them in just two days.

Listening to Lia's stream, it turns out their timeslot is something they choose. She doesn't want to stream during Pippa's timeslot because it seems rude, but she said she has no choice because it's what works with her job.

Well, she got the job because she felt frustration about antis commenting about her work ethic which has now resulted in spliting views with Pippa. She does have a choice but she is a silly girl.

I just had to check that this was real, holy shit she passed Sana already (321K). Considering she's an artist I expected Sana to have drawing streams like Ina, seems like it would be an easy way for relaxing streams and more content. I'm just surprised a new debut of a foerign branch (JP excluded) could pass Holo EN members.

I used to not mind it and even have a bit of 'haters gonna hate' mindset about how easy Ayame gets by but my twitter feed is constantly suggesting me Ayame fanart because of my apparent interest in Virtual Youtubers and now it's actively annoying me how she doesn't do anything but still gets so much damn focus.

That said, there is no doubt in my mind that Sana used her art skill and résumé in that field to stand out and secure a place in Hololive, so the notion that she refuses to do the very thing that got her in over others really does kind of rub me the wrong way whenever I linger on it.

Sanas very few drawling streams were wildly popular but she has explictly said that she is vtubering as a means for self-improvement that she is more then just a drawling machine. She also provides cover with art like Ina and has a pretty strong fanbase so that is most likely a win in Covers mind. Or maybe her manager lives a miserable life where she nags Sana to stream more. Who knows.
Ayame and gen 2 are hot and cold with streaming. Choco and Subaru are fanatic streamers while Aqua, Shion and Ayame used to be. Right now Aqua does more backend work like concerts and merch and when she does stream her antis are relentless. Ayame used to stream and may be lazy, probely is busy doing something else considering her upbringing, but is a Holo member favorite and I hope she never graduates so Mio won't cry. Shion is just trying to survive, poor girl. Hope Subaru and Choco wrangle the girls up again and go out to eat.

Are vtubers just a pipeline to right wing extremism? They seem to be far less politically correct than the majority of youtubers, but maybe that's just because I only really know Pippa and the people she collabs with.

Considering that the two largest companies, and prob. 3-5, are Japanese and the entire culture stems from Japanese anime/idol/seiyu culture I would vote no. Japanese media is largely apolitical which is a political statement in itself and one that might align with conservative, get politics out of entertainment ideals. Also, aren't most niche cultures less aligned with PC culture?

Poor Pippa, hope her paranoia can be fixed. I supposed it's also that she's a woman which would make her more likely to become neurotic about such things as she'd be in a much more vulnerable place growing up in such an environment than a guy would. Then again maybe both genders have the same neuroticism as a result and it just manifests in different ways that make it more visible in one over the other.
