Anymore? They've NEVER believed their own bullshit. Everything they say is a manipulation tactic, and nothing more. Anything to cause thought termination for anyone straying away from the choir, to defame anyone not part of the cathedral.

Not no reason.

I'm absolutely certain that those debts that @Gehenna talks about got quite a nice little payoff from that 36B.
Eeeeh not quite. The amount is pathetic and covers an absolutely minimal fraction of their debt if it was. No, this is just more vultures picking at a carcass. Its pork, largely aimed at personal projects of a handful of people using Ukraine as a decoy.

This is probably just bait for the midterms.

"See, we tried to pass laws to stop the gas price increases but the evil, racist republicans want to suck corporate dick and blocked us. Vote blue no matter who!"
More or less yes. They know it's going to get filibustered since the Republicans aren't playing ball for anything that isn't just pork. This won't do much though. The general populace doesn't care why you can't do anything, just that you haven't.

Feel all the Empathy™️ and Compassion™️.

Oh god no its another Kamala.

I'm honestly conflicted here. Obviously the country going down the toilet sucks but there are so many bugmen that called me a Nazi for saying Biden was too demented to be president who are shrieking and screaming bloody murder that thanks to Biden (whom they voted for) that they cannot afford their ultra consoooomerist bugman urban lifestyles.

it's pretty delightful.

You're rubbing it into their faces, right? It's no fun if you're not telling them "no mean tweets! The economy is in tip top shape! I dunno why you're complaining! Most popular president in history!" right back into their faces when they complain to you.

their tears are delicious

The reality of the statement is that there will be mass shortages, you'll see gas stations with the proper price and "No Gas" signs up, and you'll be paying someone else for a jerry can off the back of their truck for an immensely inflated price, if you're lucky.
Lived that once already in 1979. I worked all over the DC area, Baltimore, Richmond and Martinsburg W.Va. (Big IRS hub). Computer service geek. There were days that I did nothing but sit in line waiting to get gas from one of the few stations that actually had it. I drove so much I had to fill up daily, if not twice daily.

Answer then was odd/even days matching you plate number to buy gas, which totally didn't work. And it ain't gonna work now.

Fuck a bunch of Teslas. America still runs on Dino. They can keep kicking the fossil fuel bad can, but at the point the shelves are empty and nobody can afford to drive to work, then what?

Why can't these idiots pull their deeply inserted heads out of their respective anuses and deal with reality, and not free crack pipes for everyone?

Rhetorical question is Rhetorical. Yeah, I know.

Not going to lie - this has been one of my favorite things to do lately. That and commiserating with them about the increases in food/fuel costs before sharing that inflation chart and feigning anger at the Ukraine war for the .6% increase from February to March.

Sometimes, it's the little things...
