General Discussion for Virtual Youtubers / Vtubers / Chuubas - it's okay to be a simp for 2D, just don't thirstpost.

Gura: What do I smell like?
Ame: ... Like fish.

you can't just say that on stream, Amelia. Watson also ruined potential future hot mic Gura moments.

Gura's 2 FPS kinda ruined the game but the chatting segment made up for it. The duo seemed much more comfortable together than they did in that Fortnight stream or the Cookie Kingdom one, dunno what happened during those two.

There's this thought that has been lurking at the back of my mind for quite some time. So here it goes.

What would you feel if yer favorite Vchubba corpo/company/agency decided to create an international or region-specific furry/kemono branch?

The market is ripe. And we all know them furries have deep pockets. All things considered, it might be profitable. It might even be successful. If the coomers, fetishists, and troons don't run it to the ground immediately at launch anyways.

You mean this series, or the one she did for her redebut? Also is the link just the Interstellar clip? Shit's copystriked, so I can't see it.
Yeah i'm talking about her recent 'Daily Intimacy' videos. Also, that's weird you can't see it. Must be outside of the US. It's just a clip of when the MC is watching video vlogs of his kids growing up and getting emotional from it.

Why is Pippa so worried about her lisp? It's kind of cute.
jumping off from this. Is there any vchuuba that does have a speech impediment? Being foreign and having English being your second language with an accent doesn't count. Like actual speech impediment.

Don't care, wouldn't watch, Pippa is already a furry anyways.

Unless it's not the more degenerate ones, I'm down.

It is, security cameras and GUNS fixed it!
I've got both, perfect fix for Pippa is I!

She doesn't have a lisp. She doesn't need to go to the dentist. She doesn't need grasses.
I'm just saying, a Pippa in glasses, with her lisp sounds very adorable. And she doesn't need a dentist, she needs a dedicated team of dentists working around the clock to fix her.

Null can hardly speak his native language if that counts? Warski is made of meat but he's a bit of a living cartoon and he has a stutter. Those are the closest things I have to vtubers besides Pippa.

I dont remember who posted this 2view devtuber but
Good finding lad, totally not pozzed :story:

In my defense:

FYI her announcement tweet says she's doing the stream because it's trending in her country, so it's a "let's talk about the current hot topic" thing rather than the usual "validate my personal sexual disfunction because it's the closest thing I have to a personality" thing.

EDIT: Could @FlappyBat be correct?

(Can't quote the usual way when editing)
Late last night (look in my defense i was very sleepy) after seeing this, I spammed a bunch of edgy questions to her google form thing for the stream, assuming most if not all of them would be filtered and ignored. But I was wrong.

I skimmed the stream and a lot of them are in there. I'm cringe-ing at myself and laughing way too hard to actually watch the stream though so someone else will have to say what sort of response she actually gives.

I'd go to the store for milk and never come back.

I'm not going to watch the full stream, but those questions gave me a chuckle at least. I did listen to her response to the eugenics question, and her answer if I understood correctly was no because, according to her research, being gay isn't genetic. She seemed to be coming at this as a naive outsider attempting to be objective, which is cool but by now the entire subject is repulsive to me so I won't be listening to any more.

Nyanners seems unable to make intentional "sh" sounds anymore. She's done the cutesy voice for so long it's damaged her brain. She does go "sh" when she's excited, sometimes, but people with "real" lisps do that, too. The only lisp therapy I know of is basically "Fool yourself into making the right sound until you forget that you're doing that." It works with the wrong sound, too.

Ina and Pikamee both have sinus problems that impinge on their voices. Ina's is getting worse, and I only hear her talk once in a while, so the progress of it is really noticeable. It sounds like she's shrinking.
