General Discussion for Virtual Youtubers / Vtubers / Chuubas - it's okay to be a simp for 2D, just don't thirstpost.

You bit the bait but there's truth in saying that clippers often choose the least representative examples of vtubers to show simply because lewdness and drama gets more views.
I dont know what clipper channels you all check, but the ones i do dont rely only on lewdness & drama for clicks. Melody & Finana are lewd vtubers with or without clips, and the clips are proportional to the content they offer, thats why someone like Ina for example is really hard to milk a lewd clip. Not everyone has all the time of the world to see entire streams, even just to prove someone that X vtuber its lewd or not, a lot of viewers consume more clips than full streams so i cant blame their subjective judgement.

And yes i know all started with a bait but i wanted to point that anyways.

Penelope's playing A Dance of Fire and Ice, and she's got Ina vibes in this and her previous Sound of One Hand Clapping. You can hear her keyboard clack but not enough to be annoying, it's right on the endearing side, especially when she screws up and malds a bit. She's gotten the jitters out of her.

Poor Pippa, hope her paranoia can be fixed. I supposed it's also that she's a woman which would make her more likely to become neurotic about such things as she'd be in a much more vulnerable place growing up in such an environment than a guy would. Then again maybe both genders have the same neuroticism as a result and it just manifests in different ways that make it more visible in one over the other.

I'd donate for Pipdozer if she ever wanted to fully embrace Uncle Ted's cabin ideology.
Doubtful, her childhood stories are wild. The story or her and her mom scaring off some guy was ridiculous.

I understand Sana not wanting to do art streams in favor of wanting to do everything else and not be tied down to that artist role. Still, being an artist is what most likely got her in since she's been doing it for several years and then turning around to say "Yeah, I'm not planning doing art streams lol" would definitely rub people the wrong way, coupled with her not being around as much to stream.
I would bet Sana told them upfront what she wanted to do, she isn't shy about it. She got in to Hololive for being more then just an artist, like Ina. She is an effusive weeb who embraces weirdness like neighbula.

I don't like her because everyone else in the company streams at least once a week, yet here comes this bitch able to stream once or twice a month with no repercussions? And the reason is health issues? If you got health issues that puts you out of commission for the entire month, why are you in this job, why are you in any job if it happens every month for the entire month.

I will never understand why ayame gets a pass from everyone
Ho boy, have you heard of Hololive member Murasaki Shion?

People are jealous she makes mad bank with little to no effort.
You're not paying her salary, if anyone would be mad it would be COVER and i don't see them firing her
This community really is like the wrestling community, really mundane stupid shit gets blown out of proportion into "SERIOUS ISSUES THAT MUST BE ADDRESSED!" she will be succesful as long as Hololive is succesful, that's the point of being in an agency (inb4 this comment becomes the catalyst for a 10 page long tribalistic cock measuring contest)
Even if they wanted to pretty sure she's grandfathered into contract changes that prevents it. She probably does just enough behind the scenes to be kept around.
Ayame is the greek dream personified. Do as little work as possible, get paid as much as possible, have people love you without doing much while enjoying your life carefree. The only thing missing is a position in the public sector.
Oh for fucks sake if it was anyone else taking month long breaks as often as she does, everbody would be betting how long until she graduated but god forbid you touch the holy name of the chink who lays the golden eggs
The point was she has a job, when you have you have a job you typically have to do that job. Yet somehow she gets to get off scott free using tummy hort or some other bullshit excuse for over a year.
And ayame is VERY popular which is why i think she's fucking stupid. Why stream once a month when you have people that shower you with money.
She built a brand of her personality. One that is very lucrative to Cover where they can use her in their animated shorts, build her into the Hololive alternative and have her join special events like the Golden Week stream (which she missed) bringing in viewers. Additionally, they probely bully her to do voice work or songs every so often. I can't think of a reason why Cover would want to get rid of her even if the rrats about her being lazy were true.

Getting frustrated that someone isn't doing things the way you would or want them to is truly MATI.
In her defense. Ayame, or any of the girls for that matter, don't have a say in how popular they are. Either they are or they aren't. And sadly, as things go in the vtuber business and a lot of other places, that usually has nothing to do with how hard someone works. That being said, I can see why she's popular and wish she streamed more. But no one outside of Hololive knows what she's up to on a daily basis. With the exception of the past week where she's had some family incident.

The same things can be said for songs. There are songs sitting around 500k views or less that have infinitely more work put into them than some that are sitting at 3 million +.
Shally 😭

Gura: I swear my PC is not a potato.
Ame: Didn't you get the same one that I had?
Gura: Yeah, but I got lucky and mine worked.
Ame: Are you sure about that?

stream is going well... just not in a technical sense.
I like the fact that the two player characters are so much shorter than everyone else. It fits.

Watching Pomu's 2hu stream and she has a song in the game! It's a bop!
Yeah I meant to pop in and update that part, but got side tracked actually just vibing with her and AmeSame.
Her own cover of "The Heat of my Fingertips"

In fact: in about 10

It's already ingame if you play it though, it's a free login thing.

GFE? Nah son, that's the Terumi Experience! A funny video idea, would to be have several clips of that Terumi series with the guy from interstellar watching them and slowly getting more emotional the more videos he goes through.
Holy shit this movie came out 8 years ago?!
You mean this series, or the one she did for her redebut? Also is the link just the Interstellar clip? Shit's copystriked, so I can't see it.

It’s IRyS. I still remembered how she self dox a day before her debut by commenting on her “IRyS tweets” with her roommate twitter account then proceed to immediately deleted it.
I know this is from last year but I don't see any other real reference to this in the thread - is there a link for this anywhere? Struggling to find this.
