Usually I wouldn’t say this because I think victims of this kind of shit can be very loose with their interpretations of what is and isn’t a threat, but this is a pretty clear-cut example where the victim should have felt the need to defend herself, regardless of the fact he may not have ultimately physically harmed them.

There’s a difference between calling someone names on the internet or what have you, and consistently berating & harassing someone who poses no threat to you after they’ve repeatedly asked you to stop.
