A book I am reading by some evolutionary biologists said that less interaction w/the body of a dead loved one results in longer and worse grieving. Lots of primates naturally interact with their dead loved ones bodies as a part of understanding what death means. I would not be surprised if most of the kids wanted to hold the baby.I hate that they made the little boy hold a dead/dying deformed baby. Why do they always do that?
