Inactive Richard "Lowtax" Kyanka - Deadbeat (emphasis on "Dead") founder of Something Awful, forced out of his own community, on his second divorce, stuck his dick in crazy, "Birth Giver"

They all had Wi-Fi, but wireless syncing came with the second version of the Zune OS, which worked on the first generation. Before that, the wifi thing was ad-hoc only, and they called the whole sharing songs thing "squirting". You can squirt a song into another Zune, which I guess they intended for that to become a meme, but I think that was just too nasty.

Also, here's a guy who got a Zune tattoo:

Ah, ok. I only had an HD which I got from a fire sale after MS had announced that they were stopping production on it. I just remember everyone bitching about the 'numbered' Zunes having Wifi but being unable to do anything with it other than trade songs that would only play three times.

The recipient is horrifying and I mean imagine being so much of a cuck you get a corporate logo. But props to whoever did it, they got the gradient and everything.

Damn, do you think you would you miss people like Tooter, DSP, Ethan Ralph or any of the fat lolcows if they died more than him?

DSP will out live the universe. Reality itself will have unraveled as gravity collapses all mass in the universe into a point, and DSP will be floating off in the void talking about "all the haters causing the heat-death of the universe".

It's fun to think about ways LowT would've blown his money had he actually sold the site for millions 15 years ago like he was offered. I am guessing cocaine and high end tranny hookers, but I could be wrong
If he'd sold when the selling was good he probably could have bought enough dope to join the 27 club. Or maybe not. I'm not going to bother with the math.

I did a little math and if Lowtax died when he was 27, he would've died back in 2003. Meaning he would have died three years too early for Uwe Boll to push his shit in inside a boxing ring.

If LowT took the buyout, let's assume it would of been in 2006, the same year Conde Nast bought out Reddit. So LowT would've been 29/30, and married. The offer was 13 million, so, that would be what, 8 mil after taxes? Then after blowing the first couple mil on meat pies and cream pies, I'm sure chinkwife would divorce him, leaving him only a few mil left. I guess how long would 3 mil last living the Charlie Sheen lifestyle?

it doesn't matter if he would've sold the site for 13 mil or 130 mil, he'd be the same broke-ass lowtax that blew his brains out ~20 years later. The only difference would've been the scale of the bad decisions that lead him there and whethever or not he'd kill himself intentionally or unintentionally sooner because of that. It always was inevitable.

I remember the Zune video. The first reaction of pretty much everyone was "Dude's high as a kite", just look at his eyes, he basically has no iris, it's all black. I'm not even anti-drugs. I think there are some drugs that have no business being illegal as long as alcohol isn't. Lowtax was a poster child for any and every anti-drug movement there is tho. He was the kind of guy that could get a wiff of second hand smoke of a joint and would end up two weeks later with black tar heroin.

The opportunity was too good to resist.

Not to ruin the joke, but that was done with inspect element. As for the frontpage, Jeffrey is too busy getting constant asspats and validation to bother.

Besides, its design still looks like it crawled out of Web 1.0.

I remember glancing at the SA front page a few weeks after Jeffrey bought SA out of curiosity over what he'd do with it, and being a little disappointed that he did absolutely nothing. No redesign, no announcements, no new articles, literally nothing.

I check it today, and I see exactly one difference; Jeffrey finally changed the "copyright Lowtax" text at the bottom of the page to "copyright Jeffrey".

Jeffery is realizing that Lowtax's work ethic will infect any who try to work on Something Awful or its forums. He'll be complaining about his spine soon enough.

Tenbux says that Jeffrey will try to shill a semi-obscure fruit at some point and have a similar meltdown to the mangosteen incident. The real question is what fruit? My bets are lychee, dragon fruit, or rambutan.
