I am so glad we got the Kronii we got and not an exaggerated uwu anime voice like this. It's because I really like the more chill, deeper, natural-sounding voices like Kronii and Kaela's, but also because of the vocal strain issues people have been talking about. I bet that's less of an issue with more natural voices than with exaggerated voices.

In the topic of voice, I'm still curious about how close Gura's voice is to her actual voice. Sure you can tell how much her voice has changed to be more "natural" since her debut, but it's still a little tad high-pitched for me to imagine it coming out of a someone in real life.

The doxx materials we have doesn't help, her voice sounded much deeper in the videos of her supposedly much younger self. I also have some difficulty imagining Gura's voice on the person in the photos we have, especially the one with her wearing glasses.

Agreed, although I do like the contrast between actual Kronii and the song. Kronii's voice was the biggest selling point when she showed up in my recommended, same with Enna, and they both have fairly relatable life takes and humor. I have a hard time watching anyone who has a voice that I can't see coming from an actual person, people like: Rosemi, Finana, Fauna, Mumei, or any cutesy anime girl. I ended up watching some of them regardless because their content is good but it's a really weird disconnect, especially if there's a dox of them so you have an actual image to see the voice coming from.

On the topic of doxes there's a similar oddness there, since they're mostly all cosplay photos, every time I see one it feels like there's a factory churning out white chicks somewhere. EN needs more thick hags.

Gooruh used her god given talents voice for meme instead of go pro. Calli used her mediocre voice for professional and manage to go pro and get a biggus dickus sign with major label.

It’s 99% Hard work > 1% talent.

It’s her natural voice. Her actual voice is slightly lower than that but still the same. There’s a clip of when people ask her why she sing for Belle Delphine and her answer pretty much with her natural voice.

Her streaming voice is just her normal voice with side effect of caffeine boosts.

Also mic quality also affected streaming voice to some degree.

it’s the artist. They must be available to commission to do the outfits. The more famous the artist, the unlikely they have free time to take on other works unless they are currently a massive Holo Supporters like WADARCO (Kronii), Huke (Kiwawa) etc.

Even small time artists like Ina and Sana are super busy just by a few gacha characters or commissioned artworks for gacha game and they had to take “priestess duty” periodically.

At this rate even if Hololive manage to convince Takeuchi to give us Saberface Vtuber, the initial avatar must be so good that it stay relevance for awhile until the next costume (if that happen please give Morgan equivalent to complete the FGO X Hololive meme)

Rosemi, Finana, Fauna, Mumei, or any cutesy anime girl. I ended up watching some of them regardless because their content is good but it's a really weird disconnect, especially if there's a dox of them so you have an actual image to see the voice coming from.

Ironically, Rosemi's voice is real and looking at a doxx photo of her kind of checks out.

I haven't watched Mumei since her literal debut but back when she was in the Twitch indie circle she had a somewhat low voice.

She writes her music so that also goes towards the talent. Also, you don't need to even have a good voice to rap. Being able to enunciate a large number of words in a short amount of time is more impressive than an actual good singing voice.
