Regardless of whether or not this kid was a pawn in a glowie op, /pol/ in particular and 4chan and its derivatives in general are going to glow like the surface of the Sun for a little while. I feel bad for anyone who was just looking for japanimation discussion on /a/ or freaky porn or whatever but if you use any of the chans for the next week or so, your IP is definitely going on in a database. Not exactly.

If you read his ramblings, he thinks his actions (and presumably others doing the same) will cause politicians to over-react, and the backlash from that overreaction will cause our current "hedonistic individualist" culture to completely fall apart, presumably via civil war and violence and power vacuums and such which will then give rise to a puritan? collectivist? society (he didn't really specify ideologies here, presumably the opposite of hedonistic individualism is what he's after since he wants white people to kick out immigrants and fuck like rabbits for procreation, putting the needs of the collective "white race" above individualistic pursuits of pleasure).

Basically, from what I understand, he used all the things the current left is pushing to ban in the attack to get them to overstep and try to ban all the things and begin overtly controlling speech.

He is correct that said politicians will use what he did to try and ban shit and crack down on free speech, but that probably won't actually fly due to the makeup of the senate and the (probable) incoming red wave. Not to even mention if it did work, and we did devolve into violence, the side he doesn't want to win would probably win because that's who the CCP would back.

Accelerationists think if you push society just enough that it'll cause the pendulum to swing back, when really it just means you act as a similar force to the insane leftists pushing their insanity on everyone and would be helping society exist in an even more broken state.

There's a weird optimism to them where they seem to think people would rebel if you push them due to some righteous fury after having been woken up to just how bad everything is, when really the accelerationist helps act as an excuse or supporter for having everything become more dystopian.

Some people are saying this guys targets don't make sense based on his manifesto. However, slight counter point plenty of assholes hate other people they just go to KKK rallies or become Nazis or shit post on 4chan. This piece of shit shot up people just trying to get their milk and go home. Just saying maybe he isn't a glowie plant and is just a like most mass shooters; a mentally ill, miserable shit who wants to hurt other people instead of doing the right thing and just putting the gun his mouth. I’m convinced that modern technology advances + calorie surplus has made even the shittiest, most corrupted civilizations have an extremely extended life span. Essentially, the oppression is very sustainable without backlash or power vacuums.

Acceleration isn’t going to bring about violence or war or cause the civilization fall… it’s just going to bring about a sustainable, long term, virtually god-like authoritarian government with little to no meaningful ways to resist.

Anyone who genuinely thinks acceleration won’t end in a forever boot on your neck is a fool
