Forgive me if this was already shared and I missed it. I’m also mobile fagging and walking to the train, there’s another long one that I’ll post when I get there.

I swear to God I never read these, I hope I didn’t somehow skip a whole Russell Arc and am rehashing.
Whoa, I haven't seen this before. Can anyone with PACER access get doc #105 MOTION to Intervene by Intervenor Russell G Greer? This is required reading. I can' t wait to read how he thinks having patronized the Nevada brothels gives him a vested interested in any prostitution-related legal action that happens in the state.

Where? I think you and @Just A Butt are thinking of another past case he tried to intervene in. It's possible that I'm mistaken but I don't think I am. As far as I'm aware we haven't seen these documents in the past.
You're right. I just poked through the archives. This is something completely different.

ETA: aaaaaand you ninja'd me.

Don't be leave rampant negative stickers on people's posts for being late/incorrect if you aren't going to put in the effort to make sure that you yourself are correct.

It's a very pedestrian concept that I'm sure you can handle.
is that what this is all about? LMAO you fucking pussy
Get a room, you two.

Also, can someone get doc 126 Proposed Intervenor Russell Greer's REPLY to ECF No. 124 Response re ECF No. 105 Motion to Intervene as Defendant, by Intervenor Russell G Greer. (DRM) (Entered: 01/19/2022)

Pretty please?

He's making a lot of enemies of actual lawyers who could probably make his life even more miserable down the line than it already is. I think the lawyer he hit on and then reported to the bar because she didn't hire him after he was breathtakingly inappropriate with her helped out with Erika's case in some way. Skordas practically has a paralegal tasked with monitoring Russ's online activities, and he went after opposing counsel in the last suit like this. From what AnOminous told me, they can't sue him over filing a complaint with the bar, but given how often he interacts with the legal system, they could really wreck his shit if they so chose.

EDIT: Boy, they really don't pull any punches in explaining why Russ has no business intervening. This was back in January, so I wonder what's transpired since then. I can't find anything past November of last year that states the status of the case. I don't have access to PACER, so I'm no help there.

He such a massive TOOL. He just tries to insinuate his slimy ass into everything. I hope he never gets laid again.
At least he's being consistent. He's openly stated several times he believes he has the right to pay for sex because it's the only way he can experience intimacy. Of course, hookers aren't selling intimacy, they're selling sex and possibly if they offer the GFE, the illusion of intimacy, but this distinction is lost on a guy who thought Taylor Swift didn't come to Utah on one of her tours because she was afraid of him having her served. Critical thinking is yet another thing he's no good at.

No Chicken Ranch for Russ!
He really thinks he is a legal whiz..
These documents are amazing
👏
😍
He really does think he can go toe to toe with people who've done four years of law school (presumably in four actual years) and taken and passed the bar exam. As I've said before, I wish I had his level of unshakable confidence in myself without the idiocy and delusions of grandeur.

And the opposition to his officious intermeddling.
Also what a fucking creep. He's apparently intervening for the right to force rape victims to have sex with him.

The docket is on Court Listener through last month. It looks like he filed his motion to intervene, the plaintiff filed a response telling him to butt out, then he filed a reply, which I am dying to read, but it isn't linked. That was in January. There's no mention of him after that.

I don't understand all the details, but it looks like there was a motion to dismiss the case, which was granted, but then they realized somebody screwed up and the motion was vacated, so I guess it's still an open case. Hopefully the court will see fit to address Greer before all is said and done.

ETA: Thank you @AnOminous

I don’t know how @Useful_Mistake inserts them directly…do I have to individually attach each page as an image?

Default was entered (and not overturned) for some defendants. Russ not resolved yet.

Why would these people/companies default? Is there some advantage to simply not responding?

As much as it may astound everyone, I agree with Russ in this instance. The plaintiff's story doesn't hold up under scrutiny, and the lawyer for the plaintiff seems to be objecting to legal sex work purely because he doesn't like it. As for their 13th Amendment argument, wouldn't the mere existence of women stating they're doing so of their own free will be enough to defeat that argument? I'm sure there would be some willing to testify they're doing it voluntarily under oath. I dunno, I'm not a lawyer. I break things for a living.

What a gift on a Sunday evening. It is an embarrassment of riches.

Greer tattles to the bar again. IIRC, one of the reasons he said he left SLC was because all the firms knew about his activities in the court system and would not hire him. He's making quick work of ensuring the same in Nevada.

Greer hasn't been to the brothel that's party to this action, but he's been to other brothels and none of the women HE paid said they were being trafficked, therefore it is impossible that sex trafficking exists in any of the brothels. Some of the women (gasp!) even turned him down!

Are these (formerly) Hof's brothels? Or are those somewhere else?

I see, so there are two categories of women: sex workers and "regular, non-sex workers."

ETA: Greer once again "proves" his point by providing an exhibit that absolutely does not prove his point. Nowhere in this letter does the state bar instruct him to file a grievance.

Oh, and apparently everyone has the right to feel accepted, even if you're an antisocial egotistical dimwit with a massive case of Dunning-Kruger effect. And just because something's legal doesn't mean you have a right to it. It is legal for me to go to a restaurant and order food. But if I get drunk and start dancing on the table while going full monty, the establishment has every right to kick me out.*

*This is definitely a hypothetical situation and most definitely did not happen in real life.
