From my experience, Rural areas are loaded with economic desperation, theft, and meth/heroin use. it's not just some fantasy land where people drive tractors around all day, people need a job and many rural areas have been de-industrialized and de-populated, the remaining population is mostly 60+. a person I know had his ATVs stolen by his grandson for meth money in the rural area that I live, and now the grandfather promised to kill his own grandson with a shotgun if he sees him again. Farming on a smaller scale is mostly unrealistic, and many smaller farmers I know had to sell their farms because large corporations keep prices so low they can't sell their products at a profit.

I lived in a city and I live in a rural area and I have to say I like living in the country where I don't have to worry about being shot by either niggers or cracker speds

We're probably headed for more lockdowns and COVID restrictions in the next few months.
