When couples say "rarely see each other" means they both have busy life, busy with work, possibly working in different shifts. DSP sits home all day, every day, he could stream anytime. IF he really wanted to save this relationship, he would adopt. But we know he doesnt even know what the word means.
Even if Phil somehow managed to change his lifestyle drastically (in regards to streaming less and associating with his "wife" more) he would somehow still find a way to not have any major impact on her personal life, he would likely just play on his phone spending all his cash on gacha in his spare time, considering he also did the same sort of stuff with Leanna for years he wouldn't do anything else besides going grocery shopping and eating out once a week like he says he absolutely has to do (so no, no downtown Seattle, fish market, nature walks or zoo trips for Kat) and it's not like he's the sort of person who's capable of having a genuine romantic interest in someone else, so no vacations or anniversary celebrations to speak of (if they do happen. they will be either forgotten by him or half-assed in case Kat remembers or someone calls him out for not doing anything to save face).
I feel like a reeeemergency arc is incoming somehow.
Hmm, it looks like we'll be passing the deadline for a tax reeeeemergency stream though yeah? I think the bankruptcy has changed things slightly, as he now should only be worried about his back taxes with his ongoing ones being fairly standard fare for him and he shouldn't be accumulating any more major debts to speak of (unless you know, he's gone out and signed up for credit cards again?, I know he's very financially illiterate but I don't even think he's that stupid?)
We have now passed the one year milestone since he did his Mass Effect Begathon that happened on May 14th 2021, that tips goal was for $3,000, which was after he got dropped from the twitch partner program, the cost for that amount I believe might have had something to do with his mortgage payments plus a little extra, so if there is actually a new begathon on the horizon, there should be absolutely no reason for it to be anywhere near that amount again, maximum maybe, $2,000? His mortgage payments aren't anymore then that, plus he technically hasn't lost much income from his transition to YouTube.
Recently he's been leaving his financial situation in the dark a bit, so we can't be too sure what will happen in regards to future begathons, but of course I would imagine if an actual "emergency" happens, they would return in some capacity, as Phil has no plan b and wouldn't know what else to do to save his "business".
