Don't know why more of us aren't listening to Jim's podcast. It's hilarious.
After proudly announcing he's going to have a wank after recording, he relates this account of having been bullied by British children on a train.
JAMES: I want on a train yesterday.
JOSHUA: Yeah! How were British trains for you? I hear you have bad history with them.
JAMES: I have a bad history with them, mostly getting bullied on them. Um, because... I don't like British children in general. They are... Having lived in both Britain and America in my life, British children are the rudest, nastiest little twats, ever!
JOSHUA: Hehehe, yeah.
JAMES: Like, I never got the shit in America that I got, AND CONTINUE TO GET, from little British kids. Little fucking squits! And oh, they love trains. And they love being... reckless... and rude on them.
JOSHUA: Yeah!
JAMES: Um, but yeah, I've just never had... like, they're just people I've dealt with in public transport have just... well, I've spoken at length about like, the traumatic time I've had to had sort of, with the social culture in Britain. So I was pretty nervous about it. Um, it went okay. Uh, I basically, I had to go to, uh, Sheffield, 'cause I missed a training session 'cause of some travel conflicts last week because I need to play catchup. 'Cause I need to learn to suplex people!
JOSHUA: Hell yeah!
He does not elaborate on what this bullying involved, and seemingly decides at the last minute not to talk about it, and changes the subject to his wrestling while Joshua/Laura K Buzz continues to make vague noises of approval.
After Josh takes them on a brief autistic tangent about the
Riviera Line, Jim talks more about wrestling and the UK debut of Commander Sterling, who was defeated in his first match by "hated crypto-millionaire and Tory twat Zeo Knox" (which Conrad describes as feeling like "the state of affairs for the last several decades"). Saturday's match will be an attempt at redemption for the Commander.
In case you can't make it to that match today, Jim will be taking part in a gay wrestling show next month, hailed as the UK's first LGBT+ wrestling event, to be broadcast on one of Sky's TV channels.
PCW UK are still
selling tickets, in case you're interested.
