The RRAT is that she was bullying other Korean members of Nijisanji with the support of management and when the merge happened, they weren't able to protect her. Even hearsay of her being sued by a former liver. So not a surprise she was given a harsh exit considering the legality of things involved.

I totally agree. Miko has gone on record saying that she will most likely never collab with a Stars member or a male in general. Her reasoning is that she's an idol... Yeah... I love Miko, but she's as much a pure idol as she is a real shrine maiden. But that's absolutely fine, and up to them to decide whether they want to or not.

miko is also miko, as in she probably wouldn't even know what to do in a collab like that. you could compare it to pekora who most people would never assume is a social anxiety hikki.
weren't there also some rumors floating around that her infatuation with big boobed blonde girls wasn't entirely kayfabe (not on a matsuri level, but still)? she also does play otome games, so she might have a slight fujo-streak too.
either way I don't think mikopis would mind that much since she doesn't really play into the waifu-appeal, if she doesn't want to (with whatever excuse) it's fine.

in general I think it's the same as "they need to do certain content" - no one is entertained when they do stuff they don't like and enjoy, and a crappy collab would not just affect them alone.

So monthly tedious Japan travel news. They're going to start having "test tourism". Where they will allow small group tours starting this month in the lead up to fully reopening for foreign visitors, hopefully, next month.

I'm honestly not sure if this really matters for any of the Hololive members. As someone mentioned before they would have to go to Japan on a work permit, I imagine. Which they've allowed for the past few months.

Pomu made a Twitter apology for saying Lazulight were the first "official" Vtubers in space, because she didn't know that apparently the first one was Kaguya Luna (one of the Four Heavenly Kings from pre-agency Vtuber times). Looked it up and that does seem the case, even if it's doing the Tekken meme of shilling cup noodles.

So both Holo and Niji stole bootleg Kizuna Ai's idea, that's at least one point of tribalfagging that can be put to rest.

I think it was more of a respect thing given that Kaguya Luna is no longer around and she didn't want to come off as some kind of revisionist.

I wonder what's Mikeneko's plan. She does more Twitcast streams (live at the moment) than "full fledged" yt streams so far. Maybe she goes the Ayame route with streaming when she needs money. Or even less since she doesn't need to split her income with cover anymore.
