Imagine you're working for a company, making probably nowhere near what you should be. You come into work and get told by your millionaire YouTuber boss you're going to spend the work day out of your office, doing manual labor to move his furniture into his brand new, unfinished, huge home because he's too cheap to pay movers to do it, and have to assemble it for him. Hell, he even mentions that he's too cheap to rent a U-Haul for an extra day, which probably costs, what, $40? And then he makes a crack about you not being "enthusiastic" as he films it.

Absolutely insufferable.

Even aside from that, what a boring video. Cool, your house has a (completely unfinished) theater room, heating pipes, and the kitchen has... speakers and a subwoofer for some reason? Okay? This is literally just a vanity project for Linus to show off his cool house at this point.

Also, why are all the windows in every shot pixelated? Is he that worried someone will identify the location of his house by the trees outside?

I'm pretty sure his floor plan is unique enough that someone could peruse permit records or satellite photos to find his house. I figured out where a streamer lived once just from the price he bragged about, the metro area I knew he lived in from other sources, and what his kitchen looked liked from his stream. 10 minutes perusing recently sold real estate listings and then looking the neighborhood up on Google Maps was enough to figure out the exact location. Can't really blame Linus for being paranoid, but if someone really wanted to find him they could and the only way to truly ensure privacy is to well, be private. Also, his Porsche Taycan review's monologue might have been filmed in his driveway:

I wish I could, but they also have their faults. Annoyingly Jay tends to be incorrect about a lot of things, and Steve while very knowledgeable seems to be unable to communicate without being sarcastic all the time and doesn't talk, he drones, which makes it very hard to stay focused on what he's saying. But both are definitely better than Linuz Toolbag Tipz.

I'm glad this thread was made so I can be befuddled by this move that I otherwise would have no idea happens. It's always a dick move for a boss to use his workers for personal stuff like this but he went the extra mile and apparently did zero moving prep the way people put it which is always a dick move to anyone you have helping you move.
I checked some of the video comments, if you sort by newest first then you get plenty of criticism but otherwise it's uncanny how people react.
