It's typical eleventh hour Russhole bullshit. He framed his original complaint in the insane belief that a federal lawsuit would wend its way through the courts in time to get him on this season. The other parties (technically although it is basically the same people) have had to respond to his bullshit at endless length.

I don't think he's entitled to an amendment as of right at this point, and a permissive amendment would require an incredibly permissive judge, because Russ's nonsense has been thoroughly exposed.

I think he thinks he picked up some skills through his Church -- rhetoric, argumentation, persuasion, general presentation/preaching abilities. Remember, he talked people into getting baptized during his missionary work. I'm pretty sure he thought the whole thing was bullshit at the time, yet he managed to convince some people so he thinks he's a master manipulator.
