Someone on Reddit made a graph comparing the race of actors in the 2022 Super Bowl commercials versus the general population:

Blacks extreme overrepresented, whites slightly underrepresented, and latinos extremely underrepresented. I assume the marketers wanted to include as many black people as possible, leading latinos to get the short end of the stick since they have less cash to spend than the whites.
Another reason is maybe Latinos are less likely to watch the superbowl. Those represented splits seem about what I'd expect of the viewing audience.
If this were the Daytona 500 I'd expect mostly white representation.
Although that would be skewed by where the commercials comes from, ie: superbowl commercials are made for the superbowl, but Nascar commercials are likely just long run commercials. So I'd expect more non-white faces sneaking in than the expected audience splits from commercials that are just being reused.
