Plagued /r/TNOmod and the Reddit HOI4 modding community - When a subreddit for a video game mod turns to utter insanity

Got no better place to post this but, Hyperborea memes are nothing more than a TNO gay ops, were there any of these memes before TNO launched? No, I feel these memes are a shit attempt to drive attention to TNO and it sadly has worked. I could probably rant about how I believe these "schizoid memes" are shit, but that's for a different time.

No, I think that TNO simply introduced Hyperborea to a lot of new people, and a large portion of 'schizowave' editors also are involved with TNO. It's not hard to see how much influence HOI4 has in these weird esoteric communities. Then it spread like a disease and eventually became disassociated with TNO in general.

If you want to credit anyone with popularizing hyperborea meme videos it would be Murdoch Murdoch. But they were big on /x/ and /pol/ during the same time.

I'm not saying TNO made the hyperborea meme, I'm just saying I notice after TNO released did those memes become "mainstream", I fully believe /x/ was talking about hyperborea for years beforehand considering what goes on in /x/

I'm just saying I think TNO and the tiktokers got it from the same place: the "alt right." One of the first tiktokers I saw blow up with that kind of content was Panther Den, who was in the Fuentes catboy sphere.

The people in TNO itself probably hate these memes for being "NAZI" or something like that, I'd imagine that the oh so wonder TNO community (specifically dsrfunny) who caused Hyperborea and Svetovid (which was featured as a video on this very site not too long ago) to blow up.

A TNO fan practically planted the seeds for the more recent NATOwave memes. That I do also know with that one OFN Gang meme from Late 2020. Everything is just variants of variants of variants now.

Make America Again is now infiltrated it seems
As someone who has kept a close eye on Make America Again, the reasons for the changes are this I think:
1. Kemalist Wisconsin if I remember right was the brainchild of a Turkish dev who got banned for saying stuff about Armenian genocide denial or at the very least they did a lot of dumb things that got people to dislike them to a degree they were kicked off the team. This kind of put Kemalist Wisconsin in a bad position since the person who thought of the idea wasn't on the team anymore.
2. The Fire Legion or Burning Legion (whatever its called) with Sam Brown seems to of been a reference to FNV and Joshua Graham. Some I imagine probably thought it was disrespectful to Sam Brown who was injured in Afghanistan. Changing something on the basis of it "making fun" of someone could be a slippery slope all things considered because besides the situation with the Brown, this is a mod where a real life commander of Area 51 can transform the site into Hyperborea and the Native Americans of the Southwest US get typically destroyed by the Atomwaffen, all the while you can see Osama bin Laden lead a country in Cuba and John McAfee lead "Ancapistan".

Why do so many HOI4 mod teams take themselves so seriously? They're making alt-history mods for a map painting game and yet so many of them seem to be focused on lecturing the player about the EVIIIIILLSSS of most right leaning ideologies while praising their very specific brand of Socialism/Anarchism/whatever at nearly every opportunity.
Just make the mod fun to play Jesus, it's not rocket science.
