The mainstream pink droopy blobfish isn't even what it actually looks like, it's a dead specimen because blobfish live at depths of 2000-4000ft and taking them out of their habitat kills them (who would've thought.) They look so weird as a result of decompression, this is an actual living blobfish.

Using the depressing corpse of a rare specimen under the guise of it being cute and wholesome seems like a pretty apt analogy for SJWs to me.
