I kind hold a hybrid of The Great Replacement and The Dead Internet as my pet conspiracy theory.
It namely follows that bot culture spews the niche viewpoint as a “totally relevant” zeitgeist and perpetuates this culture through an echo chamber (see Twitter). It also is compounded with disinformation through erasure, which we can see with Media hyper focusing on a specific event, rather than taking on the entire breadth of like events that include white populations also getting shot.
I mean, there was a black cu Boulder professor that targeted the white population, but gets completely ignored when it comes to the mainstream.
Not all Mass shootings are the buffalo shooting, but because of the echo chamber of race, that is the focal point and only major discussion happening, when a myriad other events are happening in parellel that are being erased from the major discourse. This erasure does not help when news media use bots that promote the “TOTALLY RELEVANT” topic and disregard the “not so relevant…” data.
