What's hilarious are the journalists trying to take a moral high ground, but then saying that there might be a bigger issue at hand. Bix was thinking he was a big boy journalist by saying Stephanie removed her time at WWE from her "experience " section of her LinkedIn.There was a take on the situation on Konnan's podcast that sort of made sense: her position as Brand Officer is kind of outdated since it involves making deals with other companies...and we know Nick Khan is taking over for her in the interim. He's been instrumental in getting some of the odd yet lucrative deals like advertising that Netflix zombie movie for a million dollars. Plus she's been working almost consistantly for the company since 1999 (Cornette remembered her interning there before he left for Louisville). She'll need some time to reevaluate where she'll be in the company by the time she comes back in addition to all the above about her family.
That section is meant to show future employers your experience in similar fields or fields of employment that can translate well to the positions you are applying to...ie: looking for a job or updating a resume. LinkedIn's resume builder pulls directly from this section for work history. Corporate sourcers can also use boolean searches for specific job titles. Bix would know this if he..ya know...was attempting to find any kind of meaningful employment.
TL;DR: Stephanie is actually taking time away and doesn't want recruiters trying to contact her for work.
