No one answers these questions still.
Can I have a crack at it?
1. "HATO moving East" - This is completely decontextualized. At the time, the Soviet Union was still a thing. "Moving East" refers to the reunification of the DDR and BRD. The US fulfilled their promise of not moving
foreign NATO troops to East Germany, with
German forces being the only NATO force to have presence in the East. All the maps of foreign bases in Germany up to 2019 show that the US kept this promise and didn't actually build military bases in territory formerly belonging to East Germany. Since the Soviet Union had not collapsed and the Warsaw Pact was still in effect, it wasn't part of the "promise" that NATO wouldn't gobble up member states of the Warsaw Pact. Unless Gorbachev had a time machine, that's not what they could have agreed to.
2. The YNA chickenshits decided the camouflage, human shields and decoys was the way to preserve their fighting force. Do I agree with it? No. Would anyone in the same position do anything different. No. Your enemy wants to keep the army, then you force their president's hand.
3. The 2008 conflict was started by Russia. Russian fighters were shooting down Georgian drones and overflying Georgian airspace, as Russia increased its military presence and accused Georgia of doing the same even though a Georgian buildup wasn't observed.
4. Whataboutisms - The thing is, that guy doesn't care about those conflicts, he just uses them as excuses for Russia. He can stop acting like the leftist I know he isn't.
5. The Trade Unions House fire was a complete clusterfuck with the people on both sides acting out of control and the authorities slow to respond. Portraying it as a deliberate murder when both sides were using petrol bombs and one of the fires inside of the building could have been set by a poor throw from the people inside is peak vatnik.
6. "Illegal cluster bombs" - There's a treaty many countries have signed regarding cluster bombs. Neither the US or Russia have signed or ratified it, by the way. Some countries which signed the treaty have cluster munitions in inventory, because they argue that their fuses have low dud rates and they have self-destruct mechanisms that prevent the bomblets from becoming UXO. He can't fucking call out Ukraine for using "illegal" (they're not) cluster bombs when Russia uses them.
7. Calling out the Kiev government for not adhering to the Minsk agreements when neither side adheres to them is the usual double-standard.
8. "Russian-Ukrainians slaughtered by the thousands" - as I have posted several times the "thousands" of dead were from the first two years of the conflict. More people die from traffic accidents in Russia than are killed in the separatist republics.
9. The Ukrainian military folded in 24 hours? It's been like three months.
There's differing viewpoints and there's outright shilling. He has no business calling out "western hypocrisy" when he says cluster bombs (which Russia has and uses) are illegal. Isn't that hypocritical?
Apparently it's too realistic.

Crate of 5.45x39? But doesn't Ukraine use 7.62x39? Literally unplayable.
