Crime Gunman at a Texas elementary school kills 19 students and two adults before being fatally shot, officials say - yeehaw

(CNN)A suspect is in custody after a shooting incident at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas, left at least two dead and injured 14 people, including students, authorities said.

The Uvalde Consolidated Independent School District (UCISD) posted about an "active shooter" at Robb Elementary at 12:17 p.m. local time and said law enforcement was on site.

The suspect was taken into custody as of 1:06 p.m. local time, according to the Uvalde Police Department.
Two have died after the shooting at Robb Elementary School, a spokesperson from Uvalde Memorial Hospital told CNN.

The hospital received 13 children at their facility who were being treated for varying injuries, he said. Two children were transported to San Antonio and another is pending transfer, Tom Nordwick said.

Additionally, two patients were dead on arrival, he said. Nordwick was not sure of the ages of the two deceased. A man in his 40s was also being treated there, he said.

Nordwick did not have conditions on any of the victims.

This is a developing story and will be updated.

This is the only way to prevent illegal modification of firearms
One day in the near future, probably when Gen Alpha start dying of old age, a law is going to pass requiring all tools to require 4473's. Yes including those basic $20 chinesium Walmart sets that rust when you breath on them just because the ATF progressively gets more schizo year over year and gains more prowess in the language arts of Jew-Jitsu.

The common denominator is the age of these mass shooters who target children. They're all around 18 years old. Back in the 50s and 60s, perhaps people matured faster. They went through the crazy age in middle school, and by the time they graduated from High School, they were balanced and dedicated to reach goals. Today, people can be 22 years old and 15 in their head. It may be necessary to raise the age of adulthood to 21 again. America doesn't have a cultural rite of passage for young men like other ethnic groups do. Maybe we need some sort of test of maturity.
Also: SSRIs handed out like candy
Also: family attachments broken by kids being in childcare at weeks old.
Anyone shooting up a school should burn in hell.

It's not that people matured faster, it's just that people were brutally tortured in the name of progress.

Don't you fucking talk to me about Murdock, you who probably wants Voter ID which Southern States would no doubt try and charge for
No voter ID? No electoral oversight whatsoever? Okay then, let's just send mail-in ballots to Vladimir Putin while we're at it. Any insistence to the contrary is racist and xenophobic.

(Don't look now, but Georgia is experiencing record voter turnout right now, flying in the face of the MUH VOTER SUPRESHUN JIM CROW 2.0! narrative.)

Better they get abused than the mentally ill abusing others.
I'd rather few to no people get abused personally, and your opinion on the matter would quickly change if you were suddenly committed to one of the old-style asylums for a trivial reason(which happened a lot more often than it should have, if the little I've read about the matter is correct). I would say instead that we need a better mental health system that actually focuses on giving quality care to people at risk of going increasingly nuts until they snap without necessarily committing every person in the country who's just a little to somewhat off.

None of that will happen though, so the issue is academic.

I'm sorry, you're right, it's going to be acid:

Or maybe some other incident involving chemicals.
I understand your point on how banning guns makes it more unlikely for the mentally ill to get access to guns, but I would argue that's the responsibility of the gun owner, a gun should be locked in a gun safe.
I could go as far as to argue a car could be used as a weapon to end many lives before it is stopped, there are many, many ways for an individual to bring harm to many, many people.
And how many deaths did that leave? If we're talking numbers, 7 injured 1 dead from a knife beats 11 dead 2 injured from a semi auto rifle.
Do you just think that minorities are too stupid to get a drivers license or something?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Poll_tax Love the constitution so much, look up the 24th amendment, and here's a pretty important thing to avoid, and why charging a single penny would be illegal but Southern States would try anyway.

I'm getting so damn tired of this shit. I'd rather have wanted the shooter to get the death penalty, but he can have a nice time in hell with Adam Lanza and those other fucks.

Rot in hell.

Wait a minute... The school was a gun free zone? (Which means guns are banned in the school)
So why are non-Americans talking about how guns need to be banned?? It's literally banned in the school...

Criminals don't care about laws. Dude was going to shoot people regardless if there was a sign or not.

Voter ID isn't a poll tax.

I refuse to take seriously your claims of constitutional rights being violated while you fight so hard to violate my constitutional rights.

Voter ID isn't a poll tax.
If you charge to get one and cannot vote without it, it by legal definition is.

Well you care more about the fun down on the shooting range while I care more about people being able to do the one thing they can do to influence their country's laws.

Democracy is secondary to my personal freedoms, this is not up for debate. A republic that guarantees the 2nd amendment is preferable to a democracy that denies it.
