Just stop. Body armor injuries are mostly correlated with light armor that's designed to stop pistol rounds. The moment a plate is introduced, that risk is almost totally averted. Plates only deform at the extreme ends of their capabilities, and they only deform slightly before failing. It doesn't push the plate 6in into the body like a pistol round would do to a light vest.

Your biggest concern with lvl III armor and higher is spalling, which is when the bullet disintegrates on impact with the armor and sprays lead and copper shrapnel in all directions (including up and into the neck). That's why most plates are coated with anti-spalling material which is the textured black coating that looks like truck bed liner.

A close range .45 pistol against a vest rated for pistol will probably break your ribs and damage organs. A close range 7.62 round against a plate will feel like you got punched in the midsection. Pistol vests are designed to save your life by preventing the bullet from entering your body, but doesn't mitigate impact injury. Plate carriers will allow you to be shot without removing your ability to continue fighting.

Maybe one of his handlers finally twigged to the fact that you can legally own a cannon now, so repeating that line just makes him look even more stupid.

For a former governor accused of many scandal, the most recent of which include allegations (by Karl Rove) of beating the everliving shit out of his ex-wife and two young children, the other candidates in the field have to be running trash campaigns, even though people see them as safer options.

Someone should ask him about the Bataclan massacre, which is the deadliest mass shooting in history with 130 deaths. Second place is Breivik with 77 deaths, third place is Las Vegas with 58 deaths, and fourth place is Christchurch with 51.

The Charlie Hebdo attacks had only four fewer deaths than the Texas shooting.

Gun control is political suicide. Nobody who supports gun control is going to vote Republican because the Democrats didn't ban guns this year. The only voters who will flip from blue to red over guns aren't exactly excited about bans.

2020 taught the Democrats that they can drive the base to turn out with histrionics about rising Nazism and otherwise not do anything.

Why I said "maybe."

Notice that happened with Sean Parnell in PA around the same time, taking him out. Rove uses family court sabotage as a method to kill opponents to the Neocon faction of the Republican party. That's why I'm not 100% sold on his scandals.

I get you, and I was never sold either, especially since Kim Gardner and a glowie are getting fucked for going after him.

I just find it hilarious how despite all of his competition, even Hawley (who Greitens will serve alongside with if he wins), calling him out to drop out, get help, or that he should be in prison, he's on track to run away with it.
