They actually believe "if we attack the Chuds with assault weapons, they'll change their minds on gun control!", and that such an idea does not make them look like lunatics.

Plus, it would be politically motivated violence that could actually bring about RWDS retaliation.

Major :optimistic: .

Austin has less than a million people living in it. And even though Dallas, Houston, and San Antonio also typically vote blue, the rest of Texas's population is spread out enough that they don't become a deciding factor in elections. It's part of why Texas has been able to remain reliably red for the past few decades - the major metropolitan hubs aren't so populous that they completely dominate the rest of the state, unlike in California or the PNW.

Austin now is a shithole full of roving herds of homeless druggies, white liberal pedophile supporting faggots, and illegals. A little over a decade ago it used to be a neat little place, in a standard hippie/libertarian flavor in parts, but now it’s fucking insufferable. San Antonio isn’t too bad but it’s been close to 7 years since I’ve been in the city proper.

Most of that was random nigger looting. The rest, antifa attacking government buildings, which nobody cares about. I only know of two right wingers were killed for being right wing on the west coast and they were not normie republicans by any stretch.

Austin, Houston, DFW, and San Antonio are all deep blue, and the Republicans lose 2 full percentage points of the statewide vote every election cycle or so.
2000: R+21
2004: R+23
2008: R+12
2012: R+16
2016: R+9
2020: R+6

Texas is going to flip blue because the state keeps getting browner and browner, and it's importing white shitlibs as fast as California can vomit them out. Republicans supported this every step of the way because it was gOoD fOr bUSineSses.
