I’ve never thought I’d see the day that even after the mass shooting in Texas yesterday, most moderate voters on both sides of the political spectrum are essentially tuning out the media and celebrities on why we need more gun control and the like, while demonizing just the GOP and no one else.

This is not anything new, but for once, it just seems nice that I’m fully aware of the ”silent majority” being a real and serious thing.

Does this nigger know that he's running for office in Texas and Texans like guns?
We saw this with Cisneros, and it's a tact that I've seen progressives take time and time again, and one that I was unfortunately very close to at one point in my life. Their idea is that the United States is homogenously in favor of progressive causes, whatever those might be, and that one model can fit all states/cities/towns... So long as the candidate is brave, loud, and unapologetic enough. It's not an ideology that makes room for compromise or understanding, and is an ideology that leaves its candidates extremely vulnerable to appeal from the local population they're supposed to appeal to.

Tl;DR: Beto knows, but the progressive ideology he's following says that he shouldn't care. After all, the movement agrees with him, and what else does he need?

Moderates and average people don't truly care about woke social justice issues, ie troons, pronoun faggotry, baby murder etc. But when times are good and they are happy they will at least tolerate this stuff out of gleeful indifference. Times however are not good. When the average person can't buy food because prices are sky high, can't fill up their car with diesel, or send their kids to school without fear of them being brainwashed, their tolerance and interest in any woke shit is zero. That's why stuff that would usually cause a huge shitfest - overturning joe v wade, school shootings - are simply big nothing burgers right now. People have better things to care about. When orange man was in charge and improving the economy, things were comfortable enough for people to focus on frivolous social justice stuff. Those days are gone, at least for now.

Niggers promoting snitching lol.

Why is every big 1990s era celebrity turn into an authoritarian cunt in the end.
Because now "their people" are the authoritarians instead of those dang dirty religious righties.
The South and Middle America aren't "neocon power vacuums," but the conservatives there really need to stop coming out for the incumbents.
You basically have to REALLY shit the bed Heard-style as a Republican incumbent to get kicked out, OR in the case of a couple former Alabama governors, commit a crime and go to the clink.

Grandma was originally Lt. Governor but assumed the position after the previous governor got in trouble for misusing funds and having an affair.

Having watched a lot of internet progressives back in the day like Secular Talk.

They do always love to talk about "muh polls" and how the American people support less guns and more healthcare funded by the government and how evil Republicans just frame the questions differently.

Hard to believe this is what Joe Biden was like about a decade ago lol.

I'd love to just go to an alphabet soupite gathering, hook my phone up to a loudspeaker, and just play this clip, over and over, at full volume. Then, when they inevitably say "BUT THAT WAS BACK THEN, HE'S CHANGED" I'd tell them "Why didn't you apply that same logic to the co-worker you got fired for saying the N-word (without the hard R at that) on Twitter a decade ago?" The NPC short-circuiting would be glorious.

They keep hoping that "fortification" efforts plus Californian transplants will eventually tip the scales.
Slight PL: have two new neighbors who are California transplants. If I called them a liberal or leftie to their face they’d think I was on drugs. Can’t attest for everyone, but I’m guessing there are a good chunk of a transplants who were right, moderate right, or former lefties who got out the People’s Soviets Republic Of California and saw what was wrong with it and are NOT going to be voting for the people who ruined the state.

"Come armed" to the NRA Convention -Blue Check Ukraine Flag retards who have never touched a gun in their lives.

idk, I'd be scared because if they went through with it, nothing's more dangerous than spergs with weapons who also don't understand basic safety and handling of said weapons.
That isn't even limited to firearms, if a bunch of gun control obsessives showed up at a NRA rally with knives I'd expect a ton of dangerous flailing would occur.
