A public charter school in Lehi has suspended a fourth grade teacher who identifies as queer after a video surfaced in which the educator describes several discussions with former students that a school official says are “inappropriate.”

The students, now in fifth grade, “come visit me almost every day after school and a lot of them are queer because I am queer. So, they figured it out and so I’ve become their safe space,” the educator says in the TikTok video.

Mark Ursic, executive director of Renaissance Academy, said in a statement Monday that the school became aware of the video posted to social media on Friday.

“In the video, the teacher describes several inappropriate conversations with former students. The employee has been placed on administrative leave pending a thorough investigation. Our teachers are expected to comport themselves with the highest degree of professionalism. Behavior that is unprofessional, in violation of state code, or that violates the trust placed in us by the families of Renaissance Academy will not be tolerated,” Ursic said.

Renaissance Academy serves about 750 students in grades K-8. According to the Utah State Board of Education licensing database, the educator has been licensed to teach in Utah since 2019, and has had a Local Education Agency license to teach at Renaissance Academy since fall 2020.

In the video, the teacher says, “I’m so happy that they are figuring out who they are and that they’re happy with who they are and they’ve found safe space. But man, I could never imagine being in fifth grade saying these things out loud, even though I know they’re all OK. I grew up super religious where nothing was OK. And so seeing this happen.” The educator then screams and then cheers “Yeah!”

At the start of the school year, a Lehi High School science teacher made headlines after a cellphone video of the educator expressing her political opinions to students in her classroom on the first day of school came to light.

In the video, apparently filmed surreptitiously by a student, the teacher used profanity, expressed exhaustion with the pandemic and she told her students that they don’t need to believe what their parents believe because “most of ya’lls’ parents are dumber than you.”

She also told students if they didn’t believe in climate change, they should “get the hell out.”

The Alpine School District officials said in a statement that the veteran educator’s behavior was “inappropriate, not reflective of the professional conduct and decorum we expect of our teachers, and will not be tolerated.”

The teacher no longer works for the school district, although the school district’s statement did not specify at the time whether the educator had resigned or was fired.

Although K-12 teachers have free speech rights, there are limitations in the school setting.

“Speech in the classroom does not have the same First Amendment protection as speech by a private individual outside of a school setting. School districts have the authority to control the content, curriculum and methodology adopted by school staff,” according to an ACLU guide titled Free Speech Rights of Public and Charter School Teachers and Staff in Utah.

Alpine School District’s code of conduct states that employees and volunteers are expected to act professionally.

“This includes communicating in a civil manner and not promoting personal opinions, issues or political positions as part of the instructional process in a manner inconsistent with the law,” according to the code.

Renaissance Academy is not an Alpine District school. It has its own board of directors.

This story is extraordinary even among the bumper crop of groomer teacher stories because of a couple factors. One, it's the second time one of their "educators" has opened their big fat mouth and gone viral for stupidity in one school year. Two, the fact that this insane woman comes right out and gives away the game "because I'm queer, a lot of them are queer."

Here is the post on Libsoftiktok. You need to see for yourself how absolutely high as a kite this pedo bitch is, too. Worse than the Mary Poppins of Misinformation. The shit she says is just exceptional, I mean, fourth graders playing a little kid board game and talking about "lesbian baddies"?

She has shut down her tiktok, of course. Her facebook is pretty boring. The school already scrubbed her from their website but there is an archive. On her linkedin she says "I want to change the way children experience food. My goal is to set up culinary art programs in all elementary schools across the country. " Jenna lives at:

with her parents- who are registered republicans.

I bet the fucking insane idiots are going to use this example to scream against charter schools. Those schools enforce their rules regardless who it is. And the fucking teacher union will have a field day showing the public how bad charter school supposedly are.
My heart weeps because charter schools in comparison are so much superior.

"We just want equal rights".
I still fucking hate myself for believing this back in the mid 2000s when shit like gay marriage/rights was a hot topic. Pretty much everything the Christian fundies told me was spot on and the speed at which everything changed was insane. I hate I have to admit the people thinking video games, Pokemon, DnD, metal music, and Harry Potter were satanic were actually right (On this issue).

They were also right to assume that their atheistic opponents were every bit as religious as they were, or at least had the potential to be, even without a belief in God.

But they argued it was more along the lines of, "Atheism is a religion too!" rather than the fact that many of them would cling onto superstitious ideas, like the idea that a man could be born with the soul of a woman trapped inside of him.

They just traded one religion for another.

Pretty much the definition of grooming. Remember when Alexander the Great would impale people on likes as a warning? We should look into doing that again.

She is no longer employed at the school, effective immediately. (archive)

After an investigation of “inappropriate conversations” between a Renaissance Academy elementary teacher and her former students, the educator and school officials have mutually agreed to part ways.
On Friday evening, Mark Ursic, executive director of Renaissance Academy, released the following statement: “Jenna Hall previously submitted her resignation for the 2022-2023 school year on April 19, 2022. Subsequent to the investigation earlier this week, we have mutually agreed to end our employment relationship for the current school year, effective immediately.”

Hall had been on administrative leave pending an investigation of conversations she described in a video that was shared on TikTok, She states that her former students, now in fifth grade, “come visit me almost every day after school and a lot of them are queer because I am queer. According to the Utah State Board of Education licensing database, Hall had been licensed to teach in Utah since 2019 and has had a Local Education Agency license to teach at Renaissance Academy since fall 2020.

Isn't that another way of saying that they groom kids?
You can't be a "safe space" since you're preying on them.

>ya'lls

Fire them.
Out of a cannon and into the sun.

Me too. Me too….

Yes, which is why they hate the idea that gender is a social contagion I mean construct but not an inherent trait.
Please remember that the interior of the west coast states are deep red. Some are just escaping conservatives who have finally realized that the coastal states are a complete loss and there is no hope of turning the troon tide back.
You can identify them because they’re ashamed of California. The bad ones will lament constantly how x isn’t Californian enough.

All gays are paedophiles and they're always white men. They should be fucking culled for the greater good.

It's important to remember that back when the 2000s were going on, we had a very different political climate with very different activists. You can ask anyone who was in politics on the left at the time; it's a whole different beast now. A lot of this comes from the fact that in the modern era, so many of them are postmodernists and hard leftists besides. Their worldview basically involves everyone turning into a coomer, and fucking whoever and whatever they want without consequences, because this will help break down the pillars of ordered society and lead to the glorious superior future.

Look up Engels sometime, the dude was a fucking degenerate.

The 2000s shaped the 2010s SJW death kult in that there was a generation of kids who grew up under Bush II and the fact that Bush II, thanks to 9-11 and the Wars that followed, came super close to creating a permanent one party Republican controlled United States which would have theocratic elements to it.

To people like this pedo teacher, they grew up radicalized into the idea that the Democrats can never EVER lose power again and that ANYTHING was justified to keep the GOP out of power. To the point of wanting to create a Thousand Year SJW Reich that is a thousand times worse than the GOP that ran things under Bush since at least Bush knew how far he could push shit unlike the left these days.

The irony is that despite how nakedly corrupt and fucking dumb Bush's administration was - and good god, was it - it was still less openly corrupt and still less fucking dumb than Obama's. If you had asked me, or, I believe, many oldster Dems during the aftermath of the 2008 elections whether they thought that Obama would, in some capacity, be worse than Bush was, I'm sure many of them would have laughed and asked for some of what you'd been drinking.

Christ that was a sobering 8 years.

Remember when teachers used to keep it strictly professional in the classroom? Or am I just so old?
One of my art teachers in high school was obviously gay as fuck and we students being the little shits we were would constantly try to get him to talk about gay stuff because we thought it was funny as hell to mess with him and this man never once gave in to our trollololing. He was there to teach art not teach gay. Not all queers are groomer pedo crazies.

It's not a question of money or training, it's that the entire school administrative apparatus in theses cases is designed to find, recruit and enable this EXACT kind of person for their own political vanity..... giving them more money just means they'll hire more of their friends to the diversity and inclusion board so they can pick the wokest textbooks and most diverse genderspecials right out of college to teach the Kindergarteners..
The pay structure of schools encourages- especially in underfunded districts, hiring brand new, young teachers right of college over experienced older teachers- because they are cheaper.

Yes, schools that have the funding to do it, generally will hire more expensive experienced teachers with higher education levels over newly minted graduates, but when the budgets are tight- and many schools are criminally underfunded by their states- they may have no choice but take the less expensive option.

Since tenure is a thing too, these underfunded districts won't be able to easily jettison experienced teachers who have put in enough time to get tenure= which is basically just enough time for a new teacher to shake of that "new car smell"- something like 1-2 years in most states. So when budgets are tight- when an older teacher finally retires, they will frequently get replaced with a low-cost fresh out of school new teacher, who will then be let go just before qualifying for tenure and replaced with another newb. Most school administrators who have a soul HATE this, but may be forced into it if their budgets are thin enough- and with the current super inflation, just keeping the lights on and the buildings intact is stressing most school district budgets.

The other issue with tenure is that more experienced teachers who burn out have the ability to just coast along, meet the minimum to prevent the school from going through the painful process of trying to boot them and milk it like no tomorrow. This generally won't happen to teachers with a conscience, and most won't start out intending for it to happen, but the system both allows and even encourages it- why do your best if you can just coast and get the same rewards? Especially when the budgets are tight, and the experienced staff gets frustrated with a continuous revolving door of junior staff who aren't around long enough to give a shit or even develop their craft to a decent level of expertise.

Again- these things don't happen in all cases, and most well-meaning administrators avoid these things like the plague because they become a death spiral for the school. But, many of them lack the budgets to properly discourage this crap from happening, and now that enough of these groomer/woke trash have gotten into the system they easily get trapped into accepting at least some level of SUCK, then start to realize that the slope is more slippery than they thought....
