Its been awhile since I've posted on this thread so let me talk about recent additions to the collection. I got my hands on a pristine Peruvian Mauser. A quirk about them is that the Peruvian military stored rifles with the bolts removed in order to deter theft, make a gun utterly useless so you won't steal it. When the Mausers were imported from Peru, Sam Cummings imported the rifles and bolts separately to prevent a bunch of paperwork issues and there wasn't a great job when it came to making sure the bolts match, so a great majority of Peruvian Mausers you come across have mismatched bolts. Since 7.65 is annoying to find, it'll be a safe queen for a bit.
Second is my first AR that I bought from a friend for $900. I'm an AK guy for the most part but I was looking for something that shot cheaper ammo and now I have it. It's built on a poverty lower and an Aero slick upper, has a BCM LPK and bolt/carrier, Radian Raptor ambi charging handle, Lancer carbon fiber handguard and stock for slight boomer 'tisms at the range, Faxon integrated break pencil barrel, Wojtek adjustable gas block, and a Leupold 1.5-4x VX-Freedom duplex reticle. I completely forgot what trigger I have but it has an "H" stamped on it with a very light pull and an ambi safety. Since my state has been retarded with NICS there was a backlog so I had to wait a couple of days and when I went to pick it up at the FFL where I did the transfer at I said "I'm here to pick up the retarded looking AR" and got them to laugh a bit.
