Guy is, unfortunately a designer and not an engineer.

It's an awkward and irritating position where someone "works in tech" but doesn't actually have an understanding of technical topics. He does not understand why blockchains are they way they are, you can't get rid of the monetary aspect without undermining Proof of Work itself.
