Cutting them doesn't work, they just replicate. You have to get the whole thing, and they get fucking huge. Only scarier thing to have in an aquarium is like a Lionfish or Mantis Shrimp. This kinda shit is why I never got super into saltwater tanks, way too much work and you might invite an eldritch horror into your house unknowingly. Apparently her audience is also largely new to Vtubing so there's also a question of how much of it can get transferred to other members and other chuubas in general over time, for now it's almost nothing it seems.

That's the thing: her kayfabe is a NEET pretending to be an Ojou-sama, so if she feels like 'breaking character' then she is actually still in character, and everyone is aware of that, because she already slipped into her Kansai dialect in the trucker stream for a few seconds.

Apparently her audience is also largely new to Vtubing so there's also a question of how much of it can get transferred to other members and other chuubas in general over time, for now it's almost nothing it seems.

I'm not sure how true this is. No doubt she's tapped into or rekindled a new market, but I'm not sure if it's a majority, and she most certainly hasn't cracked the West yet given her sub growth becomes glacial during Asian dead hours.

Reimu had also posted something a couple hours ago + another clarification quote tweet. Vox has yet to say anything on the matter.

Lots of people seem to be wanting Pippa to step up to the shitposting throne and take us all on a wild ride. But think for a moment; maybe her being reigned in is a good thing. She has an extreme personality, and really takes any kind of failure hard. I think it's better that she doesn't jump right into the bloodsports arena, because she's honestly just an orbiter. We have archives of her bawling her eyes out over really, really trivial stuff. Imagine how hard she'd take getting fucked with by some of the truly deranged minds out there. Right now she's on the fringes, able to take shots from the security of relative anonymity. She's a novelty, and that has a power all of its own. Pushing her harder into that field will just make the novelty wear off. We all love it when she gets shout-outs or nods from people like Rekita or an angry grumble from Ralph, but let's be honest; she'd quickly run out of steam if that was her 24/7 content. She's much better off being able to simply step back and fade into the shadows when she needs to, rather than have the expectations of a full-time commentator thrust onto her.
