Hey, wait a minute. Kevin cites "not growing up with pets so I haven't yet had to deal with pet death."

We know he doesn't go outside, so the entire... situation doesn't count, but didn't one of their dogs just die after being neutered? It was a few months ago. This is also disregarding the baby alpacas and lambs he's watched die, and going by the strictest definition of "pet death."

Second point: with Wedge, isn't that more of a boss/independent contractor thing? Surprising that nobody's gently reminded Kevin how blind he can be to his class privilege.

eta: here, Geordi, one of their puppies, died in April 2021. Kevin's fiancee escaped, so that's a net positive for her, but I'm annoyed that Kevin doesn't even remember his pet dog died.

For any other trans person who has had to interact with kevin it must be infuriating. I don’t think kevin‘s ever had to do any of the really uncomfortable embarrassing things most trans people probably go through when transitioning. Kevin even said himself that he got to transition whiles in a relationship with Penny and pretty much all of this new gender bending stuff came when he was under penny‘s roof.
