I wonder why old geezers who taught us common sense to not reveal our own information doesn't follow their own rules. I get that the internet is somewhat alien to them, but the same people go "don't put your real name out there, people will kidnap you" but will happily ignore that to put their real names on Facebook or something.
On the other hand, I did a tiny bit of my own mistakes here like the email leaks from ways back, mostly because I didn't know better. I used an Gmail, but one I never really used-it didn't have any personal info, made-up names, only used to link games so I won't lose game data so my thought was "I never use it for personal stuff, so kiwifarms is okay." Then the leaks changed my tune to "Okay that's bad, people might see a trail to my personal accounts somehow/probably blacklisted/whatever but I don't know a better email to use because all of email services (I know of) are not good either like hotmail". Then Null a few users introduced Cock and Protonmail. Thanks, kiwis.
