Does it even have to be menopause? Men and women require much different body fat percentages to be considered healthy. What is considered normal in a woman can be classified as obesity in a man.

The only way Jazz might have to face his abuse is if and when transgenderism falls out of favor and is shunned by society. I hope he lives as long as possible. He is an experiment, I wanna see how he ages.

I agree with everything you're saying here, but he will likely become an agoraphobic shut-in by the time he's 35. He's going to look and feel like hell from all of the "treatments": obese, bald, deformed, crippled. I don't see an about-face or expose about trans kids coming from the Bloshinskys in this lifetime. They are completely beholden to the "trailblazing success" narrative. Anything else is unthinkable and catastrophic.

Menopause is when many, if not most, women begin having trouble maintaining their weight so, yeah, it's hormonal. Speaking from experience.

Not saying Jazz is "in menopause," but no telling what concoction of hormones, both natural and artificial, are circulating at this point. The weight gain's, as I've said before, most likely psych meds.

I'm in the minority in that I never thought Jazz (at least initially) had "an eating disorder." He ate everything in the house like any growing MALE would do; teenage/young adult boys' appetites are legendary, and we all agree he's a biologic and chromosomal male. However, everyone around him has made such a federal case of it that it's probably now become an ED (men get them, too).

There was a really telling moment in the most recent ‘I am Jazz’ season. It was when they went to the museum and the mermaid tail was on display. Jazz said in a very wondering, confused voice ‘I made that’.

He was an energetic, creative child, and he can’t figure out what the fuck happened to him. And he’s probably never going to figure it out, that’s what makes me sad.

Also many moments when there’s some exchange within the family, and Jazz is frowning, looking troubled and confused. But then he comes forwards and performs as expected - I finally feel happy and like my true self now I’ve had the surgery, I’m so grateful to have such a wonderful and supportive family, etc etc

People can move on from on all sorts of terrible childhood experiences and toxic family dynamics, but they usually need some kind of outside passion or hobby to be interested in. Something that shows and promises them something else is possible, that drives them onwards, that brings them into contact with people who have a different approach to life.

Jazz is allegedly a Harvard student, but I’ve not seen any signs that he’s intellectually interested in anything other then trans ideology and being a trans figurehead. That may be to do with the editing of the show, but the whole family seems so shallow that I suspect it’s not.

We say so because that's the most likely outcome for him, statistically speaking. We know it's not gonna happen tomorrow, though. He's still high on all the fame and attention he's got and above everything, denial. Being alone is also helping him to get distracted, because he's out of a house where everything they talk about is his genitals. But we know that's gonna be a point where he realises all things he can't do and that's when he's gonna crack, childish or not.

And yes. Sex is perhaps the most important thing he's gonna realise he's missing. Specially because the surgery was related to that. He was told to have a vagina and he has a hole he can't use. This isn't like some cripple or a blind person being born blind. People like this learn to live with it. This is a normal human being told they could enhance their eyes to make it more like feline eyes and after getting the procedure, realising you has a worse sight than you had before. That bad.

He def has an idea. Have you seen him have his “past life regression therapy” session? There’s no way jazz can say he’s a hungry gay man not accepted by his family “in a past life” without having some idea that he’s actually just a gay man with an eating disorder who’s not accepted by his family.

You don't have to declare a major for your first two years in most universities, it's all prerequisites, so he may not be studying anything in particular yet, but we can all make educated guesses as to what it will be.

Except that Jazz has been doing emotional eating and hormones and even antidepressants forever, and although he struggled with the odd 30 pounds, he didn't gain an additional 100 pounds until he was put on that "new psychiatric drug cocktail" this season, so I would attribute it to that, just for the sake of logic. As for Jeanette's rage, we can only imagine! She devoted her entire life to this, and it's just a big fat (no pun intended) embarrassment...
