This Vox shit is one reason why I hope Cover doesn't use HoloEN to experiment with mixing the genders with intention of full integration one day. The Live/Stars wall in place is useful in that it limits the interaction between Fujos and whatever the fuck the male equivalent is (can't spell that shit). Let the talents decide if they want to collab or not, but throwing them altogether with the expectation that they'll all work together freely will stir the crazies up; especially if Yagoo stumbles across a Vox-like Fujo bait in the upcoming generations. Of course Stars seem like a different breed then the males Niji have assembled, but StarsEN is a wildcard. China might not be as big a problem as they are to Niji but there are plenty of other places where people think it's fine to act this way.

I don't think Yagoo will do that. Stars is a pet project of his. Putting a potential money maker like StarsEN directly into Hololive instead of using them to propel Stars would be throwing away all that work. Plus it seems like Cover has been taking steps to loosen up the image that they want total gender separation.

Was a good cover of Internet Overdose. Can't say the song does much for me, but it works well for vtubers. Artwork was cool and the animation was great, well done all in all, just not a massive fan of the song. Hopefully Nolan can gush over it.

Wish I could be up in two hours for the follow-up Karaoke, but hopefully it's either archived or someone here saves it.

That was fantastic. Such phenomenal singing, adorable and gorgeous art, and an amazing song with wonderful instrumentals.

It's situations like today that make me glad nothing went forward with my auditions.

To those of you in the thread that do stream or have models already, you certainly are brave souls knowing just how unhinged fanbases can become both aboard and within the West!
I hope that sending mine to Yagoo is enough so i can be StarsESP :smug: I just need to wrangle my pipkin a bit...

Reactions: Blatant hypocrite
The NijiEN community is pissed. Hold onto your seatbelts because it's not going away.

Fan Discords are partnering to make a project for Reimu, which will likely be a sore spot for Vox who said she was partially to blame and that he doesn't want to see anything regarding drama anymore. #ReimuIsBestGirl has been trending in multiple countries through the night, and Western Kindred are expressing how much they hated his statement because they consider it victim blaming.

He just needed to leave it at 'Parasocial retards aren't welcome' but then he went on...and on...
Yeah I don't have any stakes in the whole thing but when I went to listen to his statement a few things kind of stuck out to me as "ooh that's really not how you should be addressing this" even if I think I would say I agree with the core of the things he was saying.

When talking about what was happening to Reimu he felt the need to talking about how he was annoyed by her DMing him but "it's ok because she didn't know better. Even when that's true and in other circumstances that sort of explanation would be fine. In this situation though a statement like that gives validation to the people who though they were acting in his defense. they hear that and say "see see, he was annoyed, that's why I'm defending Milord" and something about the whole "yes I found it annoying but oh silly Reimu just doesn't know any better" just gives really weird vibes and optics to me in a time she's already coming under undue fire. Felt like something that should have been just talked about privately not thrown out to the masses when people are already worked up.

And then just the fact that he spent just as much if not more time, talking about how annoyed, and embarrassed he felt because people wanted him to step up and say something. yeah like he said it would have been nice if fans didn't engage with the antis and trolls and people sending threats, it's just when you're working with a large number of people it's statistically an impossible expectation, some # of people are going to pozload my negholep. But at the end of the day those people are acting out of what they see as concern for Reimu's well being. and Vox spending just as much, if not more, time complaining about them embarrassing him and cursing at them for "telling him what to do" it makes one question his own priorities. What's he prioritizing more? His friend that's getting death threats as a result of his actions, intentional or not. Or is his priority himself, mad that the concerned fans embarrass him, and mad they're expecting him to step up and handle the situation he caused. In most other situations I'd probably just agree with the streamer telling their audience to fuck off, not engage trolls, and not backseat their career. In a situation like this where a 3rd party is dealing with a hate mob and getting threats however I think the priorities change and what needs to be said isn't all the stuff about your personal inconveniences in the situation.

We'll see if he gets it back on track, I don't follow him so I can't predict what he'll do. It'll be interesting to watch from the sidelines though.

So reading tweets talking about the Vox situation made me arrive into a conclusion....All those fujo money has got into his head, hasn't it? I don't how you could fuck up this bad
He's also Br*t*sh tbf

Even when they're threatening someone they keep up the larp. Too far gone is an understatement.

I don't keep up with Nijisanji bts stuff but I don't think they've had to deal with too much flak for the off-collabs the other NijiEN's have done. This seems to be purely a Vox/Chinese fanbase thing and Cover already dealt with the Chinese part.

The funniest and/or most infuriating part about this is that this is essentially Vox's fault in the first place. All she did was send him a message, and he was the one who twisted it into something even worse by saying she called him because lol RP. He essentially sicced rabid bugwomen onto his own friend, and all he can say is "don't tell me what to do it's under control". He really couldn't have just kept his mouth shut about her messaging him? Did he not realize addressing anyone else in a fujo-centered stream is a very, very bad idea? For someone who says he's got everything under control, he sure doesn't seem to understand the gravity of his most lucrative demographic.

I like the guy, dude's really fun and charismatic in collabs, but holy fuck is he absolutely unbearable solo because of the fujo cancer. It's really starting to feel like he's let this shit go to his head.

And he's not going to understand it until some lunatic bitch shows up at his doorstep ready to get married to him.

I'd like to see that actually. That would be funny

I'm not a fan of Vox but he was always very funny in collabs and especially with Reimu. but the way he tried to throw her under the bus like that really shows how he really is. she did nothing. he keeps cultivating fujos and yumejos like that I don't see another fate for him other than what happened to Rushia.

His attitude is bad but worse than all he tried to throw his friend to the wolves. from what I heard Ike was also harassed by his fans over the IRL collab. because of "shipping wars". he again said nothing, Compared to how many collabs he used to participate in he has been very solo last few months (at least on his channel)

It's sad. He's a genuinely good entertainer but completely sold off to parasocial psychopath woman.
