This would be extremely impressive were this his initial statement, but his actual first response was to sit on the fence in an effort to please his fans, and then he quite pathetically put blame on his coworker. Remember that this situation didn't blow up in the middle of his stream and he had to find a panicked but quick solution. No he thought about this and came out with that sorry excuse for a response first. I will say that it is at least a little impressive (and unfathomably funny) that he came out with this shift in policy so suddenly after being a wimpy faggot earlier, but if this was someone that I watched and cared about then I would not be forgetting that initial response anytime soon. As an example, even though I think Nux Taku is a huge 'faggot and retard' double whammy of a person, I still remember that both Mousey and Melody (the only two Vshojo members that I actively enjoy) did not hesitate to jump on the cancellation bandwagon. Even though there were some supposed apologies given, I won't forget what they tried to do to someone that was meant to be their friend. I can still enjoy them, but my parasocial trust in them has been shaken.

So in that light, this Vox thing rings kind of hollow. Unless being the target of the ire of all the western Nijifags actually slapped some sense into him, and after he had a real conversation with Reimu he reexamined himself only to find he had been acting like a total retard. That's the best case scenario and one I could believe if he actually starts to reign in his fanbase, but he needs to actually prove it through his actions. If the bad Kindreds start acting up again, and he still has to be dragged kicking and screaming to actually do something, then I and everyone else will know that he's just not trustworthy, but maybe it won't even come to that and they'll just calm themselves.

Good to see that Vox did what he did to correct the record. Having an obvious black hole of negative energy festering in the branch isn't good for anyone even if you don't like him, and the whole community has a soft spot for Reimu because she's the most inoffensive V-Tuber ever and she's also constantly getting shit on (she introduces herself as 'loud and annoying' in collabs due to criticism, she stopped doing stuff with Ha Yun because shippers got weird etc).

Ultimately, I think the chinks are too deluded to actually pack up and leave, but at least Vox isn't sitting on the fence about 'My friends or my monetary vein' anymore. It was pretty based of his to categorically break down every piece of fan behaviour and shit on it.

The sad thing is that it's sort of understandable that it was assumed that after the way the minecraft stream talk was conducted. If Vox hadn't reversed course on how he was handling it it definitely could have gotten real bad real fast. Lauren got a month and a half of manager whippings for downloading a porn one time. Imagine what the response could have been to "getting your branch-mate buried in death threats" as it could have been treated by management.

We don't have a good track record of these sorts of things deescalating in rational calm ways and then management responses always feel disproportionate in response. That this turned around the way it did genuinely has me pleasantly surprised because I usually only expect proper measured responses from the most zenlike of hags as I think for most people making fully rational decisions under the kind of pressure that level of fame/scrutiny brings is a tall order but great when people manage it.

Genuinely glad to see Vox course corrected this one though. His content is far from being my thing but this much at least has been a decent impression, hopefully he keeps it up.

This is bullshit and I'm not even a takodachi. Ina has an extra job as an artist and even admitted that hololive was a side job, it's fucking moronic to hold it against her that she has other responsibilities when other girls stream full time. Pekora is great, but she isn't working 2 jobs, and afaik thats true for a bunch of girls, you could include Noel having her ASMR shit, but she isn't contracted for that and AMSR is totally different to being an artist.

JP girls also get more support given they live in Japan and have more interaction with, and can visit the company for support. My point was the dancing lessons (Which Ina cant do, unless they set up internet/zoom style sessions) are a godsend that will keep the girls fit and healthy. Sitting down all the time fucks up your joints, I know because lockdown/work from home caused me serious knee and back pain due to the lifestyle. Ina also has a shit sleep cycle and drinks poison like Red Bull (Even if caffeine helps you, you build up a tolerance so it won't help for long). Her being tired is likely due to poor health due to her lifestyle. JP girls have access to things that help counter the problems of a sedentary lifestyle, whether the girls recognize the benefit or not, whether they would like to laze around or not. My point wasn't Ina is lazy, my point was her health is likely dogshit and JP girls have more support for maintaining health through things like dance classes, helping them avoid the physical issues of streaming.

Despite what it may look like with all this text, I'm not actually one of her fans I just think you're being unfair by ignoring different circumstances.

Oh damn never expected anyone to mention that game. For an indie it was particularly well-made. It was rough around some edges but overall it was great. And for an indie game that was developed solely by one guy, a Christian half-Korean named Dean Dodrill, it is quite impressive. And yeah that looks like a neato character design. Would fit in as a character in that game.

Huh. Yaxie Lotte. The PH Bichubba who did a trollolol graduation which was actually a rebranding. All the content she made prior to that rebranding has since been nuked and I kinda miss them. I used to be interested and followed her for quite some time. Until it happened. Then I just dropped her. It's nice that she gets to do whatever she wants now. But from the looks of it, she sold herself out. Not really in a bad way but it widely deviates from the content she used to make prior to the rebranding. I guess you could say that she's one of those typical VShojo-lite Vtubers now. She's opened a Patreon page for her cosplays and all that. Has separated her NSFW and SFW stuff between two Twitter accounts.

Hm... Umai Lele seems to exhibit a little bit of lolcow behavior. As for Yaxie Lotte she seems to be almost clean. There is no concrete evidence to fully convict both persons of being the same. But it all seems too... coincidental. I dunno maybe I'm just paranoid.
