It's probably a mix of things. Cheating gold diggers tend to be jealous and controlling because, fuck, if a new tastier mark came their way, THEY would hop on that chance first thing, no regrets and no questions. So some of it, at least, is Phil being whipped. Other than that Phil has expressed distaste a couple times at how everything was always about sex with Panda.
