Plagued Consoomers / Consoomer Culture - Because if it has a recogniseable brand on it, I’d buy it!

It was a mint Cloud City edition. I guess some people got in a bidding war over it. I wasn't a US based buyer, it was some Asian collector or something cause I sent it overseas. Prob could go for double now cause US consoomers love Legos in an unhealthy way now.
Yeah that actually makes a lot more sense than the people exclusively listing the things and somehow selling them at solely buy it now prices of 2000 something dollars.

I've always been amazed when people collect shoes, especially when they don't wear them. Having several dozen of sneakers just to have on your walls seems like a bad investment, and wearing them is sort of pointless since they get dirty and are often overlooked
"You will own nothing but Nigger Shoes, and you will be happy"

Lord. Aside from the autistic clapping that was a pretty pathetic return. Has Disney gotten around to cucking Cade Skywalker , Mara Jade and Revan yet? I wanna conserve my rage and limited amount of Star Wars related fucks for when that happens.
Well they got cucked already when Disney declared the entire pre-Disney EU non-canon, then blabbered that "tHeRe Is nO SoUrCe MaTeRiAL" and then proceeded to lift a lot of stuff from said nonexistent source material anyway. If I were feeling particularly autistic, I'd make a list of stuff in the Sequel Trilogy that was ripped off from the pre-Disney EU.

I’ve noticed the thread slowing down a bit. Will a recession free people from their consooming ways?
I was going to follow my original comment with "I'm seeing fewer of those 'Things you MUST HAVE from TikTok' videos." but then this popped up:
I will say, though, that my initial impression is that the average cost of these things is dropping. It's more "impulse buy" and "fun gift" things than, say, in 2020, but I may be wrong in that.
Those gaudy things in the thumbnail make me suspect she must be a high-class prostitute.
No she's a fancy business lady who just happens to have prostitute taste.
This is a prostitute.

I don’t think Sophie Shohet is a prostitute, she’s just a corpo lady with terrible taste. Like an older version of Cassie Thorpe:

I saw this guy on r/headphones that accumulated like 15 pairs in 5 months. And most of them are really high end ones as well.
The wall contains:
  • Focal Clear MG Pro (£1,150)
  • Focal Utopia (£3,699)
  • Audeze LCD-5 (£3,999)
  • Verite Open (£1,999)
  • Hifiman Susvara (£5,099)
  • Beyerdynamic DT770 Pro (£109)
  • Focal Elegia (£479)
  • Audeze LCD-XC (£1,259)
  • Verite Closed (£2,499)
  • Focal Stellia (£2,899)
  • Massdrop HD6XX (£190)
  • Hifiman Sundara (£269)
  • Audeze LCD-X (2021) (£1,399)
  • Meze Empyrean (£2,599)
  • Hifiman Arya (£1,299)
I get having a few pairs of headphones since they have different sound signature, like you might have a really neutral sounding open back pair with a really good soundstage for when you want to pick out subtle technical stuff in your music, a closed back bass cannon for when you want the bass to punch you in the face and some in-ear ones for when you need to go outside. But spending this much on headphones in 5 months is extremely excessive. This dude has basically 100% speedran the headphone enthusiast hobby and condensed decades worth of headphone acquisition into 5 months. There’s no way he can appreciate all those when he’s accumulating new ones so quickly . The guy at least seems pretty self aware that he’s a lunatic, though.

Yet another consoomer that brings shame to the brand, she can't even pronounce the name right. It's Versace, not Versachee. This is such a common mistake, that they even released some products correcting people
VERSACE-NOT-VERSACHEE-bag-1030x839.jpeg
As usual, she has the most logoflashing and cheap-looking clothing items. And yea, we should mention that she doesn't have anything from Versace Home, and from the look of it overall. It doesn't look like she got any money at all, so she is probably full of debt

About the Fendace collab. It was Fendi designing for Versace, since the owner is a fan of Gianni Versace. So in my opinion, it is not awful. Since the owner of Fendi stuck to the components of the old-era of Versace designs. But as seen with the sandals, he didn't have everything to say with the designs. So the collection is hit or miss.
The pink jacket in the vlog of Sophie was awful too. Something with the design just looking just wrong on something so plasticky. There are top and bottoms in pure silk in the line too, luckily. But something new I learned, is that shops usually custom-order them. Since they are more expensive to stock.

I really like the design of this backpack, but yea. I'm not going to buy plastic for 2k, maybe if it were in leather and actual proper materials.

These sandals are tacky anyway, but the price is ridiculous.

I do have an Dyson Supersonic, and the whole debate if it's worth it or not is stupid. Those who say it's not worth it, are men with short hair. That doesn't fucking need a hair dryer.
From what hair dressers say in general, from what I've read. Is that it's good, when it works. But after 2-3 years they need a new one. So for private use, yes. For commercial use, no.

But just to be said, I just like how it looks too. So it doesn't really matter if it's "bad".

All this money and no Sennheiser or Audio Technica?

Call me a noobie, but I legit have never heard of hifiman in my life. I googled it right now and:

"HiFiMAN Electronics is a Chinese manufacturer"

yikes

A Texas bussinessman is creating coffins for the 19 children who were killed in the Texas school massacre. It's a noble deed and I'm not bashing the guy for helping these families out, but one coffin stood out from the others.

A coffin with the TikTok logo on it. Imagine your daughter getting shot and killed in a school shooting and her legacy is an advertisement for TikTok.
This seems so fucking disrespectful, to have the logo there. But then again, kids are stupid and at one hand. It may be for the better that tiktok is associated with death, but it's innocent kids...

I heard that apparently Hifiman's headphones sound really good but the quality control on them can be kinda iffy.
r/headphones are very into their "chi-fi" as they call it, lots of show and tell posts of fancy earbuds by Moondrop (another chinese company) with anime waifus on the box lately:

And he actually does have a pair of Sennheisers. The 6XX were a collab between Sennheiser and Massdrop, so they're a Sennheiser headphone that can only be purchased from the Massdrop website.
