Lechón is a Spanish word but these meme references do make the game dated. Kind of like how Diamond and Pearl had a translator who used Something Awful who put late 2000s meme slang in game.

I don't care for the Pikachu for this Gen, but I never like any of them anyways. Lechonk and Smoliv are solid Pokemon, eat Muk Genwunners.

I'd like the Scarlet legendary more if it didn't look like it had a wheel stuck in its throat. Pretty big fan of the Violet one though, really liking its "futuristic" and robotic look.
Does anyone else feel like Pawmi's model looks a lot different from the official art? I think the art looks cute but I can't say I'm a fan of its model.

Am I the only one who mistook those Pokemon Centers for an gas station?
In a way, they're basically the same thing; but seeing something like that in the middle of nowhere and behind an buliding in the trailer had me thinking that people would actually be driving around or something.

I feel the same about many of the Gen 8 Pokémon too. They look good/decent when drawn in 2D or as pixelated sprites but the 3D models just look like shit.

The co-op looks vaguely interesting but I’m sure it’ll be disappointing too.I felt nothing watching this trailer. The textures and models still look like ass, the designs are meh, still no voice acting, no interesting new gameplay mechanics shown off; it just looks like a rom hack of SwSh. And all the YouTube comments are “wow this game has new starters and professors and legendaries must buy!!!” like those aren’t in literally every single new generation ever.
Maybe someday we’ll get a PMD2 remake or new PMD, but until then, maybe nu-Pokemon just isn’t for me…

It definitely wasn't. Off the top of my head there was a trainer calling you a noob, a Giant Enemy Crab reference, and maybe an all your base are belong to us reference. These were all removed in Platinum.
What the fuck was going through the PiT translators heads though, in the other languages they just have "robotic" speech instead of sounding like tards who thought talking like that made them cool internet users.

If there's multiplayer, does that mean you can have four trainers on the same save file for four players, or is that online still for four different Switches? If it's the former, then thank God, my brothers and I have been wanting something like that for a long long time.
Otherwise I'm still kinda meh about this. The starters are adorable, the other Pokémon I'm just not feeling a thing although Lechonk's name made me go "wut". The Legendaries must be like Reshiram and Zekrom 2.0 in terms of theming.

There's also Buzzwole, (swole), but that one I can kinda defend because it's such a showboating gym rat like Pokemon. "Hangry Mode" makes me legitimately cringe and if I'm recalling correctly it doesn't even have an effect outside of making Morpeko look even more unappealing than it already is.
