So if the jury MEANT to award him 15 total but there was a cap on the 5, can the judge rearrange the numbers so he still gets 15?

If not that seems stupid, especially since they forced the jury to do over the numbers anyways.

Also shouldn't she have to pay legal costs since she lost?

Unfortunately, no, I do not believe they can do anything like that. The jury can come forward and say that's what they meant him to get, but the decision is the decision. I think the only thing that could possibly change it upward is if Depp appealed the monetary decision. Which he won't.

She didn't lose. She one on one claim in her countersuit. She lost on every single one of Depp's claims though.

Nobody asks victims to be perfect, or at least I certainly do not. I expect people to not fucking lie about their abuse, to not manipulate pictures to make bruises appear, to not draw bruises on their face and call the paparazzi to take pics of them.

It's adorable how they say metoo only provided "modest gains".
