I don't think the (at this point-very tired) refrains of Orange Man Bad! are going to put food in peoples mouth. The Twitterati activists aren't going to pay your bills. The pundit class aren't going to fill up your gas tank. Who's going to do all of that? The idiots in Black Bloc? They'll just smash your shit and loot, and the pundits and Twitterati and sycophants and charlatans will cluck their tongues as they say its regrettable.

People can just look at one picture, an iconic picture to some, at this point. Any person with even a modicum of awareness knows this now famous picture. A picture of a man. Well, of two men. Two simple idiots, who were destined for more. They were to be used, as a focus point, to bring about GREAT CHANGES in our society, whether society wanted those changes or not. One of them is a police officer, taking a knee. And the other fellow, a simple, humble, African American man. And that man... Well, he couldn't sneed. And, finally, in the background of this picture, this simple photo that would be the flashpoint for GREAT CHANGE and PROGRESS, a humble gas station price board.

The Democrats ran for governor in Virginia on a message of
  • Get rid of white teachers
  • It's not a big deal if your daughter gets raped by a troon
and still got nearly half the vote. Don't ever underestimate how fear of Literally Hitler will drive people to vote for a party who openly hates them and wants them dead, their kids raped and brainwashed, etc.

There's no line of succession from the house to the VP, and there's no way in hell Biden would appoint Pelosi as his VP, nor would she take the position. It would mean giving up her control of congress.
Unless he keels over, this is staying that way unless Harris gets 25thed, I think. Susan Rice would be the obvious replacement.
Ford was a very intelligent man and a good Minority Leader, and one of the only people baller enough to go after a Supreme Court Justice by considering initiating impeachment proceedings. He was definitely not qualified to be President, but pardoning Nixon was probably the right move. He also inherited a shitty economy and a morally exhausted nation, and I don't think even a highly qualified person would've been able to achieve high marks during the 70s.

Seriously, name one world leader during the 70s who actually did an outstanding job (Thatcher doesn't count bc she only really got started in late 79).
Ford was tied more than Trump.
Outside music, did anything good come out of the 70s?
Short answer: No.

Long answer:

Yes. Music. tons of good music came out of the 70s. But that's about it. Nobodty remembers how crazy it was. Horrific economic conditions. Most of the world (Other than the US, USSR, China, and Japan) finally having to face the cost of WW2. Thatcher nailed it, and everybody hated her for it (myself included at the time). Insane crime. Bombings. Expectation of nuclear war. Major politicians being assassinated. Gas through the roof. Pedos all around but no-one gave a fuck. Racial mlitias. Coke. Police brutality. Overthrow of regimes. The end in Vietnam. The Soviets in Afghanistan. The death of Elvis (aka the biggest American icon). Race riots. People going under due to the cost of WW@ all over Europe. Israel being fucky. Arabs being fucky. Hijackings. The car industry choking. The French almost turning to nihilism. The belief that the USSR was stronger. They start of Central American power. Leaded gasoline. The Japanese hunkering down and paying for WW2 by putting their nose to the grind stone... Whjo else did that? Thatcher, maybe...

It was a much more upheaved time than now. The only difference is, I think the constant barrage of propaganda has made a lot more true believers immune to persuasion.

They've already lost, though, and they can't see it. It's totally disheartening, I get that, but doomering or black pilling is such a temporally and geographically myopic position.

The seventies were more insane, but they only lacked the constant reinforcement of MS and social media keeping people zealots.
Yeah you gotta take in to account some touchstones in the later 70s and even into the 80s or 90s. But overall you're talking about an inversion: up to 76 or so there was an embarrassment of riches in music; you've gotta really think to come up with duds. After that, the gold starts to run out and it gets harder and harder to pick out really great albums or singles. By...1995? ish or so music is effectively dead.
I'd say it died with the early new wave and punk stuff... Maybe 82. Grunge revitalized it, but music hasn't had a renaissance since then.
Nah, they leave that to the leadership. people like Rod Rosenstein and Peter Strzok give off really strong dickless vibes
Must be the smelly Walmart shoppers.

We are in the middle of a war for no other reason than the Biden administration doesn't want anyone to fuck with their piggy bank.

Trump was smart enough to keep us out of this shit.

And the President CAN influence gas prices.

He canceled gas drilling leases, made it difficult for refineries to be brought back after CoVid, and publicly declared his intention to get rid of fossil fuels.

So, yeah, he's responsible for gas prices because his personal policies have directly caused these problems.

And we're not in the middle of a war. That just shows how retarded whoever that was is.

We weren't a gas importer until Biden took office and destroyed the very system that kept us independent.
Getting a bit too lathered up there, mate.

I mean, the discord post makes it clear that @Sekirodiealot is using us to argue with someone in a discord for him, so hi VanillaSoft!

A major reason why gas in particular is a sore sticking point for me is a little minipoint of an overarching hatred for a lot of left leaning Moral* Strategies is "don't do it personally, but let someone we dislike do it for us and then criticize them for it".

Europe didn't want to be the big bad drillers, so they outsourced it to russia, all but an outright enemy. Now they can't put the pressure they need to on russia because if they do russia will hit a switch and they'll freeze. to. death.

Basically every nato country complains about how big and aggressive the US military is, but they completely understaff and underfund their own militaries, so they can look like the "good guys" when actually they're a glorified staging area. When america decides to leave a conflict, nobody else can maintain it without them, and that's 100% their choice.

Nevermind destroying documents was something Hillary did with her infamous email acid-baths. Dunno what specific case she did with that one.

In fact, let me take that war one specifically.

The thing about trump that I think literally everyone can agree on is that he was Aggressive enough that you had to take his threats seriously. So when he said "if you try to invade Ukraine, Moscow's towers will come crumbling down", you had to take that as a real, genuine threat. If you try to invade ukraine, he would go right for the fucking jugular.

Comparatively, Joe Biden gave much weaker responses, like the infamous "minor incursion" line about Ukraine. He basically told russia that they could push their luck, and push their luck they did.

In fact, the fact that Putin made moves on Ukraine before and after, but NOT during, Trump's presidency is to a lot of people a big hole in the russian puppet accusations. Putin's actions suggest that he was more afraid of retaliation during trump's presidency than he was outside of it.

Trumps actual aggressive actions, like taking out Soleimani, were few and targeted directly at military heads, and he was known for helping to broker peace deals, like the first official diplomatic relationship between Israel and a Gulf Arab country.

The old phrase for military control is "talk softly and carry a big stick", but the problem is that Biden makes it way too obvious he doesn't want to actually use the big stick, so it might as well be a tiny little one. Trump generally doesn't talk softly, but that big stick is always there, it's the world's biggest stick, and he made it very clear that he was not afraid to use it very precisely

I think it's a lot tougher mentally on people today than it was back then. We're much further away from "America's great deeds". Less Christianity, less community. Virtually no representation of 75% of the country in the media. We're made to feel completely, totally alone. And we're not but it's hard not to feel that way.

Why do you guys think biden is worse than trump? There's people that think trump is worse.
Under Trump my standard of living Vastly improved, The world became more stable and while I am not sure I am entirely on board with the right wing's views on abortion the fact that he set up the supreme court to actually rule correctly on the Abortion Question (10 Amendment exists for a reason) which is a win that nobody on the planet would have predicted happening.

At all times we are doing things that seem normal and fine, but will be judged harshly by our snot-nosed descendants.

I would say our current preening about social justice will look pretty awful when it becomes clear to history that we supported literal slavery and awful conditions in Asia so we could have cheap Christmas decorations and fidget spinners.

Not even lathered up. Not even close.

WHich is why I contradicted myself and wrote:

That just shows how retarded whoever that was is.

We are in a war, but we're not.

See, we're PAYING for a war. 100 billion so far, by a party that screams about military spending all the time.

But we're not in a war, we get nothing out of this. We're not sending troops in or manned vehicles in.

But the Democrats insist we're in a war, because that way they can sell the gas prices and necessary for freedom.

It's this REALLY annoying contradiction where the Dems want their cake, your cake, to eat all the cake, and shit on everyone else's cake, all at the same time.

Oh, I agree, wholeheartedly, and I never do. I'm well aware of it, at all times. But I barely consider those types to be people, anymore. Not inhuman, just "limited." NPCs. Some might say my inner nazi is coming out, but I'm not hostile, I don't advocate any genocide. I just kinda feel bad for them. They're a mass of lost, broken people, seeking identity in something, ANYTHING, no matter how often it lies to them and spits in their face. I'm not angry at them. I'm mad at the people who let us get to this point, by action and inaction, but they're mostly dead or geriatrics. The lazy fucks who let their children be raised by media, and never thought to instill morality, dignity, integrity, and most of all honesty in their children, trusting others would handle all that icky business because they were busy whoring out their childrens' birthrights and futures. And those children, who repeated the cycle anew. Its not a white problem, a black problem, a democrat problem, or a republican problem. But it is an American problem.

You mean we provided jobs to people of color.

And nary a one of the activist class ever recognize their own hypocrisy. No "I'm sorry that I enable, nay, depend on the exploitation of the third world for my comfort and moral sanctimony!" tweets "sent from my iPhone." It will just be more sanctimony.

Welp. a loaf of bread that cost me $1.79 a loaf two years ago just cost me $4.10.

There goes the bread of the bread and circuses.
lol you don't bake
I recently bought a breadmaker, myself, but I hate using it. I did find some frozen dough that turns out fairly well. Rhodes is the brand. 5 to a bag, less than 5 bucks. Put it in a loaf pan, let it thaw and rise, and bake. Better than store bread, but you'll need a bread knife.

Trump seemed to like America and Americans, and wanted both to do well. When Biden is coherent, he's like all far-left liberals and progressives: he hates everything he sees in America and wants to change it, or he pretends he does because that's what he believes is the politically appropriate position to take. We're too white, and his solution is not for more non-white Americans to have babies, but for non-Americans to settle in the country. We use too much fossil fuel and he celebrates the hardships of working class families facing rising fuel costs as an "incredible transition." He hates the Second Amendment (but advocates unsafe, potentially criminal use of firearms). He also hates the Tenth Amendment and the separation of powers. And he probably abuses dogs, which go on to bite his employees.

Why do leftist hate white people so much when 90% of them and their voters are white? I never understood that. They keep preaching about white supremacy but they're creating them by spending a generation vilifying them for things beyond their control.
