Kindness almost certainly actually has Ehlers Danlos syndrome (there are the clear skin and skeletal signs in her photos) but does everything under the sun that you're NOT supposed to do with EDS (including cross sex hormone, amphetamine, opiate and yes, steroid abuse) and gets no actual treatment for it (specialized physical therapy, daily movement and bodywork, injection/surgical treatment for musculoskeletal issues, proper endocrine treatment, low dose naltrexone for pain, etc).
In the eyes of a medical professional, it's imperative to keep people out of a wheelchair because they fall apart and end up in the hospital much more quickly, and then they atrophy and never get out of the chair. Kindness did everything in her power to put herself in a wheelchair, including getting one without medical approval and refusing to use her legs anymore. A lot of parallels with Kelly Ronahan, honestly... totally fucking batshit crazy.
