Before the festival to the Gods of the harvest supplicants come from far and wide to the home of the selected sacrifice bearing gifts and tributes to not only the gods of corn but the sacrifice himself in order to honor them because it is known once the gods come to claim the rage pig the harvest will be plentiful.
Thanks to the humble human pig the community will feast once the harvest arrives and all will be good.
