Okay, I HATE to double-post, but this HAS to noted. So, remember how Phil said that he was ALWAYS against reaction content? How it was "lazy" - pot meet kettle - and all the other projection words he loves to use. Well, guess what??? Because now he has to do it, it's the wheelchair armada's fault for wanting it! Yes! You're responsible! You wheelchairs wanted this from Phil and now you got it! And it goes against everything Phil stands for as a person!

Yeah, he "HATES" doing it, but I don't see him complaining when he gets a nice chunk of their SSI checks.

(The answer is C, both are lies, he's doing it because he thinks it will get him gambling fund donations).

I'm listening to this, and one word comes to my mind.

Overcompensation. He's trying so hard to be the complete opposite of the man that John and Howard are describing in their podcast that he ends up doing the opposite.

It's why he's making such a big production of limiting monetization of the video. He's trying to show that he isn't a greedy scumbag by not monetization. The problem is that it's very transparent and appears to be fake.

True change occurs over time and often very slowly. In the years that I've been observing him, he really hasn't changed all that much. He's still a narcissistic manipulator who has managed to isolate himself.

I fully expect tomorrow's podcast/react video to be nothing more than deflection and apologies when he can benefit from it. He's going to try to protect his ego, and the only apologies will come when he feels it's safe for him to do so.

Once again, he's being honest about how dishonest it all is. He's being so fuckin deceptive about everything here that it's incredibly shady. Phil is still monetizing every video he has of them together. Just doing this for one time because you said you wouldn't isn't going to redeem anything.

From all I'm hearing:
-No tip/donation shout outs during the event, but still getting tips and shit during it.
-Will definitely read them out during the parts where he's not recording his soapbox debunking.
-No leaderboard, unlimited tips goal with no rewards.

And he's trying to act like these are good things. He is purposely trying to dress up the Youtube recording of it because ???.
Phil is probably expecting people or himself to really listen and pay much attention to what he's actively trying to do because you don't even have to listen closely to this, and that this is fake as fuuuuuuuck. Unintentionally being scummy once again.

I thought of this scenario: Phil leaves the room on his break or for whatever reason. Leaves the camera on, door doesn't close behind him. A few minutes pass. We hear a thumping noise and after it gets louder we see Kat appear in the doorframe. She now has the body of WingsOfRedemption and her hair looks like shit. She got so big she doesn't walk anymore. Literally waddles. She doesn't say anything, just walks across the hall.

Bonus fantasy: she quickly glances in the room and stares right at the camera then starts waddling off faster

Funny thing is that taking into account the gifted memberships...Phil's at or below the number of "real" Twitch subs I estimated for him a couple of years back. It was (optimistically) about 420-450 real subscribers on Twitch. Looks like he's more like 380 on YouTube, and that's likely including a host of sock memberships from OIC and Lyciversoul.

Funny thing is that taking into account the gifted memberships...Phil's at or below the number of "real" Twitch subs I estimated for him a couple of years back.

Undoubtedly the benefits of Twitch being owned by Amazon and Prime giving out free subs to twitch users. Dave never had that many people willing to give him money every month, they were just able to use their twitch sub on him while also getting better shipping for goods and Prime Video. Now that it's just pay $4 a month to "support" him and no other benefit he's going to always languish behind Twitch unless one of his whales steps in.
