So Western companies "virtue signal" support of woke - or at least LGBTQETC - through "pride" flags or logos, or risk "cancelled"?
Like I said, it's been "Current Year" for almost a decade now. I hope it can end someday.

It's like a "damned if you do, damned if you don't" situation.
If your business has older customers (Gen X, Boomers, or swings conservative), you risk alienating them. For example, Home Depot didn't post any Pride BS on their Twitter this year despite doing it last year, probably because DIYers and construction workers tend to be more conservative/older. But there's still going to be a tiny demographic of people who shop there and are overly woke and will be overly pissed. But they don't outspend the aforementioned group.
But if you're a company like Twitch, you're going to alienate your genderfluxvoid furrysexual transbinary foxkin by not smothering everything in rainbows and performing wokeness. And they'll "protest" over it. Most streamers not into performative wokeness will merely ignore the month, some might complain, but the big streamers are probably bound by contract to worship the woke gods or die.
I am 99.99% sure there are some people in marketing at all these companies (mine included) who analyzed how much a rainbow-covered logo would impact revenue in the month of June. Any hint of a downturn or negative customer feedback means no rainbows.

Other than the ''new" pride flag I have no idea what any of those flags signify. Do they really expect normies to know? Heck, I bet even most LBGTQIAP+ people would also be unable to identify most of the flags that don't apply to their particular brand of queerness.

The purple/white/green one is easy to remember; it's "genderqueer", but it was actually the original colors of the sufferagettes and TERFs now use them to piss off the genderqueers.
And the asexual (purple/black/white/grey) flag is actually the Spicy Straight flag. Every time I see it, it's the spicy straight pride flag to me. (It's pretty close to the actual straight flag sans purple)

Little off topic but I've been seeing this stuff coming in Japan for a few years with feminist stories in news, song lyrics about not needing borderlines between genders and loving yourself no matter how you are, and with shit like Bandai Namco changing their logo to magenta to represent divershitty. It reminds me exactly of the early 10's but not many people have believed me because they're the kind of insufferable, disgusting weebs that only pay attention to shitty anime.
Globohomo is coming to the east and it's coming fast as corpos try and catch up to the west.
in the mid-10's I thought for sure something would hit "rock bottom" and the turning point would come soon as more wierdo Tumblr shit passed by me; manspreading, transracialism, trannies not even trying to pass. etc, and here it is in 2022 and rock bottom still hasn't been hit. I just keep hoping as the internet leaks into IRL for normies that they'll see this shit isn't as far away from their lawns as they thought.
