This might be an unpopular opinion but I don't think he's technically lying. He really believes all of this. His subconsious forces his brain to believe these revisions so it doesn't break.

Not his fault dude. Nothing he could do.

If we're being honest though this is the most fault he's ever accepted for anything ever in the history of DSP.

He also said hiding the leaderboards and popups is part of 'demonetizing the stream'. He is just attempting to reframe his removal of all transparency as 'demonitizing', and as we know, removing transparency is Phil's ongoing goal.
Remember he did this, because it's going to come up again in the future as a tactic to hide money.

Phil only wishes he had a contract with them, so he might have some physical evidence to wave in everybody's fucking faces. You don't need a contract, what you need at the least is a gentleman's agreement; but you can only have such an agreement with people who can agree on shit. I doubt Phil could have managed to be amenable and went hard to sell exposure; his going on about merchandising and other shit shows it. Even if it's true or not, he wasn't intending to paying via money, he wanted to be paying via "exposure."

What the fuck is up with his body language. It's like he's intentionally trying to drag as much attention as he can away from what is being said and it seems like he's barely paying attention. It's like he's trying to imitate ADHD.

Also I love how he's trying to pull the "not my fans" in regards to people harassing John after he read out PMs. In an era where every content creator is being held accountable for what their happens to people they talk about. And the fact his "fans" are aware enough to know he shouldn't be doing this is embarrassing.

I think that's a very valid idea, I dunno either way this stream has just made him out to be a bigger piece of shit than I already thought.


Phil is a fucking scum the way he is talking about these guys 7 years fucking later.
He is saying everything under the sun but pulling short of calling them liars.
So these guys had equipment and Phil used it and didn't pay these guys and he played for some shitty props and blamed them for him buying stupid cheap shit.

This retcon is more insane than the amber heard trial just saying

He made some Gmod vids around 2014 that mocked Phil. He then later apologized to Phil for the vids and became a huge simp for him. He also debated Fred Fuchs at some point. A theory as to why he is sympathetic to Phil is that BoSchitt himself is also a scam artist.
